I cannot believe what I just saw on CBS News. The parents and a three year old were arrested in Florida because their son was dominating the soccer game. Of course he was black and the white parents were so embarrassed by his play that they called the police. It was worse than Sam "The Bam" Cunningham running wild on Alabama. This is outrageous! I hope that the parents are able to find a good lawyer and sue these trashy racists.

Athlete was great and no one else in 5-6 year old could compete. Coach told him to pass to others after 8-9 goals or he would take him out. He took ball and scored. Mother broke bad for taking him out
Child was good and needed to move up an age group or 2 IMO

Either CBS News really screwed up in their reporting or you misunderstood CBS News. The link above clears up some of the questions. The police department reported that no one was arrested because it was a civil matter. The parents of the player were asked to leave because of their behavior, then the police were called when they wouldn’t leave.

I still say that the intent by those evil parents was to have that child and parents arrested. Soccer is a "white sport" and they were attempting to dissuade other blacks from playing the sport. Plain and simple.

Gonna assume there was more to it
To be honest you probably shouldn't. If you haven't been to youth sports event, especially in the younger age groupd lately, it's insane. Certain groups of Americans have literally lost their mind at this point. Last year I literally watched a team demand that two kids from El Salvador (twins brothers) be removed from the game because they were too good. This was like 9-10 age group. Basically it turned into a shouting match between families and one of them was questioning whether the kids were in the country legally. It was absolutely disgusting and all of the kids were shocked. Some started to get visible upset. It was weird af and completely uncalled for.

Might want to watch police body cam footage before assuming things. Media will never get both sides of the story when they can run some click bait. It’s a shame too because the kid is insanely talented and that video alone would probably go viral.

Go to Hell! Better than that I would be glad to meet you anywhere!
but isn't that why the parents of the kid were asked to leave....threats of violence....you might consider the military as a career...both army and marines are looking for folks who want to solve problems with violence...

CBS news?? there was just another CBS/60 minutes story about some gentleman from Mali who was deported. Seems as if parts of the story were "edited" to make DHS appear to have deported some guy erroneously..turns out that they forgot to mention that he lied about being gay on his immigration application.

Kid got picked up by some former soccer player’s soccer camp as well. Ship that kid off to training camp for the next 15 years and bring him back to win us some world cups

let's not chastise older folks over the posting of one...and is statepawdog one of the "older folks"?

That's fair. Ill be an old one soon enough.

I feel like the handle alone points to an "older person", although i could be wrong with my assumption. My guess is he's 65+

What a stupid post, but impressive. Everything in your stupid post is wrong. That’s impressive.

Fun Fact, the league/program director for I9 Sports was the one who called the police … he is black.

When my older kid was 4, he already had some understanding of the game from me playing with him and watching games on TV with him. At that age, it's typically "herd soccer" where the kids all pile up around the ball, it eventually pops out, and the fastest kid gets it and takes off to score.

The week after our first game, we picked up a late signup. That kid's dad was a tremendous athlete - had made it up as far as AAA as a center fielder, and had led the NCAA D2 in stolen bases his junior and senior years in college. Like the dad, the kid could fly....but had zero concept of offense/defense - so whenever the ball popped out of the scrum, Tre was gonna get to it and go kick it into the goal in front of him. I had to have my son stay way back on D to stop Tre from scoring own goals. After a couple of practices, I got him to look up when he got the ball; if he didn't see my son in front of him, he was to go score; if he saw my son, he was to pass it to him, then cut to the outside away from the crowd & Brad would pass it back to him in the open area.

"Officially" all of the games ended up tied 0-0. Realistically, we murdered everyone.
