Not sayin Macomb will win every time against W-ville/Maroa but the Bombers are a very good program now and they would challenge for the Sangamo championship every year!
All the more reason Maroa and Billville should skip town (the Sangamo). They could make the Apollo tolerable overnight.
I agree... I remember when we played Williamsville when their enrollment was like 230! They are too big for the Sangamo...
No, join the Illini Prairie. Potential to have the 1A, 2A, and 3A champs from the same conference.
Well now I think about probably just 2A and 3A but if enrollments keep dropping MF could find itself in 1A.

"sucks" may be a strong word to some, but yes, I think by the score and how dominant Shelbyville appeared to be, it may have been. however, to your point, 2-7, one win being a forfeit and one win being a one score game week 9, then they go and score 40+ on a bdc team ...
Not really as stated the BDC is not a very good conference. Shelbyville was very battled tested.

favorable path until they meet Pana. I think Pana would be a game to see against West Frankfort. Auburn is no slouch either usually. They'll likely imo be waiting next round.
I'd love to see A&M pull the upset and get an A&M/OV @ Pana matchup for the second round!
The HOIC was tough this year. A lot of battle tested teams in that conference.

Athens looked ok against Carrollton... But Carrollton isnt BC!~

Auburn could be a sleeper. Played fairly well in the Sangamo and although they aren't Bill'ville or MF, they are a decent team.

I'm cold on Auburn... They used to be a very tough team under Bates and Tony before Bates, but they will have to show me...
I think the SCC sucks really not sold on a single one of those teams I think Roxana beats Hillsboro this week tbh
I agree, I never count out Auburn til it's over lol They get beat up sometimes in their own league but clearly it helps them be a tough out in many years.
I agree about Hillsboro, no faith in them really. I think if Pana and Hillsboro played again this late Pana wipes em... I'm higher on Pana than the Hilltoppers. I think Pana gives West Frank a game, I'm not claiming they win I just don't think anyone beats West Frankfort, or stays close, til that QF round.
i would not count out Pana. Mark Ramsey runs a tight program
at this point in time, I'll take the field... still too many bigger names alive. But you could very well be right taking Stockton in a lock.
Dixon isn't beating Evergreen Park by two scores. They struggled with a bad 2-7 Plano team. That's pure silliness.
I'll take the field. The NUIC has a good history of whichever team wins the regular season matchup, the other team wins the playoff matchup. Whoever wins the Forreston/Lena game will "upset" Stockton in round 2.
