Robert Reich calls for seizing Elons Assets

The commies are getting bold.

Elon Musk called for Robert Reich to be jailed on Sunday after Reich called to seize Musk’s property. Musk is right. Reich said Democrats should start laying the groundwork to nationalize Starlink and SpaceX and turn them into a public corporation if they take the House or Senate. Musk responded: “Stealing companies is a serious crime. Prison for Reich.”

More Democrats are openly embracing communism now, and it needs to be legally responded to seriously. Anyone promoting communism and the taking of private property from law-abiding citizens as a penalty for success should be jailed or lose their citizenship.

Reich is a former U.S. Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, a longtime Berkeley professor, and a frequent MSNBC commentator who has spent decades pushing higher taxes and expanded government control. He framed the nationalization call as a response to Musk supporting Trump and cutting into USAID spending. He also called for canceling federal contracts with Musk’s companies, breaking them up, and applying a wealth tax. That’s not regulation. That’s confiscation of private property because Musk backed the candidate Reich doesn’t like.

The same government that needed SpaceX to bring astronauts home is now being told to take the company. Reich has pushed this kind of economic intervention for years. This is the same playbook, just said out loud. Nationalizing private companies because of political disagreement is the core of how socialist and communist systems operate. They start with “public good” language, then move the assets under government control. Once the state owns the means of production in a sector, the owner loses the company and the public loses the competition that built it. Reich is treating Musk’s success as the problem and state ownership as the solution. Calling for the government to seize private companies over political disagreement is an attack on the right to own what you build.

Democrats used to at least pretend they supported private enterprise with rules around it. Reich is dropping the pretense. If taking Starlink and SpaceX is on the table for a midterm majority, every business owner who crosses them should expect the same treatment. That isn’t policy. It’s a direct threat to private ownership. Anyone who openly calls for seizing private companies over politics is an enemy of the country and should be legally treated as one.

Elon is an illegal alien who has defrauded the American people. The US should seize his companies that the tax payers money has built and ship him back to South Africa.
that's what I like to see...more support for deporting people in the country illegally...we need more Americans to come to that position...

Not sure about taxpayers building his companies....he has received some government loans/contracts (some supporting the efforts on EVs which were meant to support the climate change movement,) But if we are going to seize musk's for that reason, we might also consider all those companies receiving loans during the financial crisis, and/or who receive government contracts...

Musk is a naturalized citizen...

Reich has always been one of those off to the far left..he was somewhat reasonable when he worked for the government. But, with comments like these he plays into the hands of those on the right who have been screaming "socialists/communists" during this campaign. We all know that government control of corporations is a DSA platforms issue...Reich now has identified himself as part of that movement.

But, not all democrats are in line with this state of thought...

Easy solutions like "nationalize" companies where leaders don't support your party are actions of dictators - a label often attributed to Trump in a negative way. I would hope mot rational people of both parties would see this for what it is - a bad idea.

I like to call Reich "Top Lib." He's genuinely far left. And at 4'11", he clearly has a Napoleon Complex.

Trust me, all democrats are in line with him. Some may not know it yet.

An overwhelming majority of Americans are fine deporting violent illegal aliens like Musk. Where you lose normal Americans is when you're targeting the immigrants that are working jobs and contributing to society.

The US taxpayers kept the lights on at Tesla for years and Elon has gotten north of 38 billion dollars total in tax payer handouts.

Democrats kept the lights on at Tesla. Let's be clear.

The man is prophetic, I'll give him that.

Thank you for admitting that Democrats make up a majority of the tax payers in this country.

Elon wasn't hated because he switched to being a Republican. He switched to a Republican after most Democrats found out he was a POS and started hating him.

You do understand that they’re both here ILLEGALLY right. They have no right to be here, we can send them home if we want. That’s how it works. They’re not citizens, they’re criminals. Get over it.

handouts is an incorrect word....I saw the same number, maybe read the same article. You might want to outline what you see as "handouts" ...government loans (paid back), competitive contracts, sole source contracts...

I'm not one of the overwhelming majority of Americans who see Musk as a violent illegal alien..especially when he's a US citizen

It does. That’s exactly why the far left has to keep doubling down on its lies. Even when there are receipts proving their entire narrative is fake and gay. Almost like it’s a cult.

I accept your surrender

I doubt Haiti would take him. They’ve already stated they’re overwhelmed with a mass influx of low IQ people. I doubt they’d want any white dudes for Harris coming in to make that situation even worse tbh
That’s the funniest thing about these morons. They are white knighting people that hate them, would never accept them and would deport them from their own countries faster than they could cry out for the SPLC lol.

LOL... Democrat politicians. Not unionized barista's. I will credit you with originality though.

Elon was adored by the left. He made cars with no gas caps.

He is absolutely hated because he called YOU out for being hateful and divisive.

Robert “Third” Reich has perhaps tried harder than anyone I can think of to stay relevant in his post Clinton life. Sorta like Napoleon at Elba.
