I don't think that's right.

We've played 6 times in Lexington. Only ONCE in Rupp and NEVER in Rupp during the Regular Season. Only time we've played them in Rupp was 1980 during the Regional Semifinals.

We're 3-8 against those bastards including that game since then. Ugh.
Under Pitino we've played Kansas at Rupp

Stokes an interesting player - loves contact, plays through it really well. Keeps his head up really well. There is nothing graceful about his game, but he is a strong athlete and very active. He's basically the anti-Peterson, much more winning brand of hoops. Dishes the ball well.

Ngongba really keeping Duke in this one, has 1/3 of their points and KU has no answer. Duke's scoring from the outside an issue. No one really shooting it that well. Kansas really physical with them.
When we play Kansas, who do you think guards stokes?

So who won?
Unfortunately Duke. Had it in hand up double digits by 4 min timeout. Played loose with ball trying to run clock out so the final 90-84 score seems closer than the game actually was. Silver lining is it is nice to see the ineligibles on the other side frustrated though that they dropped 2 straight games at home.

Whew, tough one. We don't really have an answer for him. He'll shred Milan. I'm probably throwing bodies at him from the 4, doing what I can to force him to take jumpers.

When I think about teams that can match up with him, a Thomas Haugh might be able to slow him down. Issue is Stokes much stronger. He's a tough matchup. UConn has a beefy Alabama FB signee, 5* named Colben Landrew that is kind of like him. Just an utter tank. I'd love to see that matchup. They both have giant heads like pittbulls and clobber their way to the paint, Stokes bigger.

Both are/were UK coaches. Both have had bad losses in their tenure (Cal at the end-Pope starting out)

Both have contributed to the total game W-L columns. There's nothing unfair about that at all.
I agree. Kentucky historically has won at a 75.7% winning percentage. Cal won at a 76.9%, which means he improved our programs winning percentage and win total at a better rate than the history of the program. However, Pope is winning at a clip of 63.9%. These stats tell us Pope is not living up to the UK standard and is running this program into the ground. So it is time for a change and get this train back on track.

UK still leads 11-10 Alltime against Puke. I'll not be selective in order to give them any edge.

As usual someone jumps on a comparison with no context. Without even considering injuries but just schedules, none stack up to Pope's avg. difficulty rating of 13.5. If you avg. UK's other 7 schedules rated 10.60 or better which average out to 11.44 Uk's winning percentage is 64% vs. Pope's 63.9%

I would either put Charles Hurt or Mel Turpin on him! Sorry, just had a senior moment!

Everybody's forgetting Kansas had to forfeit 15 wins in 2018, we are only a ahead of them on an NCAA technicality.

I don't think he'll shred Milan. Milan is a grown man.
