Had a huge group at the game today. They had an elite tailgate. Maybe he will bring them back with him to Champaign next season.
We we there tailgating with a group of about 15-20. Gorgeous day on campus…74°, sunny, slight breeze and a nice win.

I hope Dierre’s group and all the Duck fans enjoyed their time in Champaign.

Aidan Laughery is a fifth-year senior running back and team captain for the Illinois Fighting Illini, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound back from Gibson City, Illinois, who starred at GCMS High School as a three-star recruit before committing to his home-state program.

Jordan Anderson again comes up huge for the Illini in the fourth quarter. Great catch, some tough runs and unselfishness to not score a touchdown that allowed Illinois to kick the winning field goal with no time remaining. What a resilient kid!!! Many others would have transferred but he stuck it out and his have a great season.

Yep that’s a game ball type play when you deny yourself the game winning touchdown bc it’s best for the team to take a knee, run a little more clock, and kick the game winning field goal with no time left instead of being up 7 and the other team having the opportunity to counter.

really heads up and selfless.

He’s been invaluable for the Illini. Truly. He’s the type of guy programs are built on.
