Baylor fires Dave Aranda.

But I thought he was the genius that carried Coach O to the championship? It’s almost like an organized program manager can make an effective HC.

[civildawg88]

But who is willing to come there?! ****

Always thought that guy was overrated.

Lebby might could find a spot with the new Baylor staff as a graduate assistant because of who his father in law is.

[Baddog11]

That is…. if Lebby even wants to continue to coach. By all accounts he’s just doing the bare minimums so he can still get paid until he can get back to the beach to eat, drink, and tan.

JUST SAYING - The MSU job if open today would be the most attractive of the open jobs.

[Howiefeltersnstch]

Maybe Lebby will reach out to Dave about a consultant

[FlotownDawg]

Aranda will be at the top of the list for many defensive coordinator positions. If he wants a job as a defensive coordinator, he will have one at a P4 school.

[Indndawg]

But but but we can't be like Baylor

Lebby is somewhat a "lame duck" and Aranda has too bright of a future as a DC to sign on to that situation . He has the money to be patient and I doubt that someone in that position would step into this steaming pile .

Lebby is somewhat a "lame duck"

Lebby has been somewhat of a lame duck since about the middle of the 2nd quarter of the Toledo game in 2024

That would be Joe burrow

[KingVic]

since we won’t fire Lebby, we should go get Aranda as DC

[jethreauxdawg]

That would be Joe burrow

And who identified and signed Burrow?

Maybe today but what about December 1?
Very likely a few more by the end of the year, I just don’t know who you target?
unless Lebby shocks us all and somehow pulls out a 7-5 season, I didn’t know how you keep him.
I just don’t see us winning 7 with what we have on the field right now.
