Not quite LSU level, but it was rocking. I sit on south side so don't know about it. Upper deck NE corner was fairly empty, maybe 400 seats or so (that's a WAG!). There were a some leaving early, maybe mid 4th qtr (?), but for most part seemed like everybody stayed til the end. One thing for sure, the light show at night games is freaking awesome!

7-1 Baby!

Former players were raving about the lights. Said they didn't have that when they were there.

Crowd was great. Not as crazy as the LSU environment but really good for a mediocre opponent.
Some empty seats in far corners of visitor side but that is more a testament to the complete absence of Vandy fans than UK fans.
I literally saw ONE fan in the stadium with a Vandy shirt on.
They are the most pathetic road presence in the SEC and its not close.

Hard to blame them. Their home games aren't packed either. Bunch of doctors probably don't care that much for sports lol

Getting out of the Orange lot after the game was a bear which means a lot of people didn't leave early. I thought they did a good job of traffic control. It was just a lot of vehicles.

It was excellent. Not insane like LSU, but really good. The school has done a good job improving the experience and the fans are responding. I saw only two negatives:

1). The UK fanbase has a big chunk that LOVES to leave early to "beat the traffic". I've been to a lot of games around the league and the country and this does not happen anywhere else. Here, it happens at football and basketball games. It's always puzzling to me - we have had so many years of bad football, that I would think people would want to enjoy every second of it. There was still a big crowd left for the last 8-10 minutes of the game, but a noticable chunk of crowd left.

2). The traffic flow after the game is a disaster. It takes at least an hour to get out of the orange lot. This seems to get worse every year. I don't mind it after a win, but it's complete misery after a loss.

There were 8-10K more seats when we played that LSU game. 71K attendance I believe.

The two people beside me at the LSU game left early thinking we wouldn’t get the ball back at the end of the 4th quarter. I can’t imagine missing that ending smh.
