This is my favorite one ever. They play smart, with poise, avoid costly mistakes, have stars all over the field, coaches and players aren't scared of anyone.
If they can keep this up, then the answer is EVER.

Ever. Just because the other good teams in my lifetime seemed like a bit of a fluke or a 1 year deal. This feels different.
I loved the 2019 Citrus Bowl champs and the 2007 team with Papaw Brooks at the helm. Mumme's teams with Couch at the QB were fun.
That said, this feel different. It's probably because Stein is just getting started, and the future looks bright.

Brooks with Woodsen at QB and Dicky Lyons out there man you talking about fun times. Our D just wasn't enough to make real noise but man that was a fun football team. We had so many pieces that played so far above their heads.

Probably exceeds the Derrick Ramsey / Art Still years and Stoops two 10 win seasons. Still games to be played though.
Depends on how we finish. Today the 76 team is my favorite. We beat the Orange Stain in 2 weeks that may change
1898. Ah, the Immortals. Bayer had just brought heroin to the consumer market; the U.S.S. Maine lay scuttled at the bottom of Havana Harbor; and the music of John Philip Sousa filled the air. Under first-year headcoach W. R. Bass, the Kentucky State College Blue and White Football team ran the table, winning all seven of its games, outscoring opponents 180-0 that season, and defeating such powerhouses as Company H of the 8th Massachusetts and the New Castle Athletic Club. I'd never seen anything like it, and I doubt I ever will.
I'll admit, though, Stein's ballclub moves the old pigskin pretty darn well.

This is supposed to be a brutal schedule and Steins rocking it year 1. I honestly get the vibes if you wanna beat Stein you better do it before he gets his depth problem fixed.

most exciting and fun team all around to me. I loved Josh Allen killing Quarterbacks and Benny Snell telling them he’s going to run over them and do it, but this group feels different, they feel like an actual Contender who could beat anyone in the country. It’s close for me but Stien and crew have the it and the country is on notice. Got two weeks to breathe and nail biting will continue.
Dicky Jr is one of my favorite all time Cats as well. Love watching that guy play the game. So fun and talented
It has been a brutal schedule, we have just ran through it. Also, if we play Bama again in two weeks I’m taking the Cats. I think we weren’t confident enough yet and let the Bama name get us. We definitely learned a lot from that game to so great experience for the new Cats.
I was enrolled at UK in '77. I remember watching Derrick Ramsey do his thing at Commonwealth. In my memory I thought I saw UK beat Penn State there, but the facts say they beat Penn at state college, so my memory messes up. At a game, I remember this hot coed coming up to me and telling me she needed an improved sex life, so that prolly has to be my fav year experience.
Favorite team since lynn Bowden at qb and for much the same reason. A special coaching performance is allowing a team to overachieve in a very satisfying way.

The Stoops Citrus Bowl teams were mighty fun, but it was always very clear that they were not on the same level as the teams that actually contend for a title. But this team is different. This is the first UK team I’ve seen that I feel like is capable of beating ANYONE anywhere.
It's the greatest season by far. The ways they have won are just amazing. This team has the it factor. I was only 13 years old back in 1977 so I don't really remember that team. GO CATS!!!
We’ve beaten three of bottom four and four of bottom seven in conference regardless of what schedule was supposed to be. Of course we’re partly responsible for them being there.

1977 for me as well. In hindsight we should have elected to take the bowl ban in 76 but we hadn’t been to one in about 25 years so I understand the reasoning. We would have gone to the Sugar Bowl and been in the conversation for a mythical national championship if we won that game
I loved the 98 couch team and 07 Woodson team. Definitely my favorite since then! Blows every Stoops team out of the water!
If you weren't gay Id swear Stoops stole your wife. He had a couple teams better than those.
Stoops had some fun teams. Kind of....even the ten win teams weren't that exciting. I would say there were a bunch of individual players I loved but no actual teams.
This is different all the way around. In year one at that. No fluke feeling. Real respect.
