4th West Iredell 34 Bandys 24. It came out that Spence just broke school record with most TDs.
Main RB for BH hurt. Hope he’s ok. I’d say he’s prob 3rd or 4th best back in conf. Real speedy and dangerous. NL just jumped on a fumble they might have a chance now lol

At this point, I’m not sure who won the North Lincoln game. I’m pretty sure it was bunker Hill. I left early. It was 21 to 20 N. Lincoln stop them and get the ball back but cannot get a first down and it puts it goes almost nowhere, and Bunkerhill scores about three plays later. so I just got up. lol

I'm a couple miles from North Lincoln High School and saw a Joro last week at a neibors house here in Pumpkin Center. I am an arachnophobe and had heard of these spiders invading years ago so I knew what it was instantly. I had also heard that they can sail in the wind and land on you from above...FYI. It was the biggest spider I've seen in the wild. A bit bigger than a writing spider.

OBM, BH scored again 28-20, then NL completed a Screen pass to Agee who went about 65 yards for the score. NL missed the two point conversion and the game ended 28-26 BH… Really good match. Big crowd.
AMD, a total of 71 points scored by both teams in the first half. Then, that was cut in half in the third quarter, and zero points scored by either in the fourth quarter.

it looked like it when I pulled up. I got there a couple min before half and coulda swore I had a 20 in the wallet and I didn’t find it, well off to the atm down road that charged me 3.50 then came back and they wasn’t taken money at that point.
So I said that’s a wrap when BH scored again and I missed the come back tnat woulda put em in OT if the 2 pt convo was good. Gaither is a good RB for the Hill. He plays behind a better line though. Agee played fiesty but he wasn’t getting the blocks he used to get 2 and 3 years ago. He oughta get at least conf honorable mention for his position

I listened to the radio on the way back from East Lincoln. The summary report for the West Iredell-Bandys game stated that each team had over 20 penalties each!

Has anyone heard any status on West Iredell QB. Someone said he had ankle surgery but wasn’t sure if that was true or not.
I was told high ankle sprain. Did tight rope surgery. Should be back for playoffs. We had a kid have that procedure done a couple years ago and he only missed 2 weeks.
Since the forming of the SD-7 conference in 1959, I never recall Maiden giving up 70+ points in a game before. It may have happened, but I don't remember it if it did. It obviously could have been worse if EL had chosen to play four quarters. The most points I can ever remember Maiden giving up was the 63 they gave to Shelby in the "woodpile" game in 2000. They may have given up a huge number to Monroe in the playoffs some years back, but I don't remember the total. We've given up 148 total points over our last three games (49.3 ppg), and 30.7 ppg on the season. Hard to win with numbers like that. And I thought after the Lincolnton and AC Reynolds games that defense was going to be the strength of this team. Not all on the defense, though. PPG Allowed is a team metric not just defense. That will need to improve against N-C if we hope to finish the regular season 5-5.
Honestly with seedng it's almost as much as a science/game plan or strategy as weekly game plans . I mean I'm sure a lot of people would like to get in the bracket where they get lake Norman charter in the second round
I'm thinking the Lincolnton playoff game a few years back was high scoring. I was there to witness that offensive show as Caleb Farley for Maiden and Sage SurratT for Linconton kept matching touchdowns in the 3rd qtr. Maiden Creek may remember that final score.
I hope for West Iredell that they get him back at least 90% for the playoffs. He is a smooth operator and makes good decisions. I'd hate for their team to not continue the season that they've had.

That was final game of the regular season, but it was very high scoring. Unfortunately, Farley scored more times than Surratt did.
Word on the street is ponder is retiring at end of season from West Lincoln
I was thinking exclusively about the number of points that Maiden has allowed in a game. The final score of the game you are referring to (IIRC?) was Caleb Farley 65 - Lincolnton 47. Lincolnton was 10-0 at the time. Maiden was 7-3.

West Iredell defense hasn't looked all that sharp the past couple of games. They would be in trouble if they play that way into the playoffs.
