Short leash for Heck.....There is a reason that Ferentz has really won 1 big BCS game in 28 years. He knows nothing about modern offense and is evidently in love with Hank Brown. Just a mediocre coach at best. If I were Heck, I would transfer as soon as possible.

Neither of them have anyone to blame. I'm good with going with Hank in the 2nd half.

This feels like a 6-3 or 9-6 type game. Hank generally is going to take better care of the ball. (Had to force something on that 3rd and no timeouts)

In my opinion, this settles the QB controversy. Neither are good, and both will disappoint you, like I said two weeks ago. Lester was supposed to be developing these guys and neither look much different than what we saw during the waning years of Brian.

So do it Hawk fans, cheer for your favorite QB to be the starter. He's just as bad as the guy behind him.

No one can claim that either one is the clear choice. Heck missed an EASY TD. Put some air in that and Diaz scores....

I have no problem with not going after a QB....

The results are in.... We could have prime Tom Brady under center and he'd play the same level as these guys. Bad juju with Iowa QB play.

Halftime adjustments…..play 21, 22, and 26 using runs and screens with Minny putting 8 in the box. Find tight ends down the seam if qb’s can get them the ball. Then play action over the top to Diaz and RVZ.
