If we have zoom come off the bench with a second wave do we think Kam and Mortons playing style meshes well? If so, be nice to play those 3 about 1/3 mins and Mason and Wilkins 2/3 mins. Mason and Wilkins work well together without zoom but realistically zooms gonna get some minutes and will improve.

Its up to Zoom as to how much he gets to play. He needs to change his play style. He can't dribble out the clock like many of the guards Cal recruited towards the end. He has to move the ball and drive when its there and stop trying to be the man. He has a big strong body and is a decent athlete. Needs to give more effort on D as well

Zoom is not seeing the whole floor very well right now. Playing tight. Good defensive player and big strong 6 6 guard. Get north south. Hit that pull up. Cut the hair- braids flapping make him look out of control.

I think Momcilovic benefits big time with that combo.

Unless you are an exceptional ball-handler, I do not a 6'6" guard should be the PG and primary ball-handler. Too much string on that yo-yo to be effective against smaller, athletic defenders. I'll take Ulis and Epps over Andrew Harrison every time at PG.

Cade Cunningham, Luca Loncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander….if 6’6” (or taller) point guards can do it in the NBA (an even more difficult level) then I absolutely think you can get away with it in college. Biggest issue with Zoom isn’t his size — it’s his tendencies, fundamentals and coachability.

I understand, but Diallo does not have NBA talent.
Those guys are exceptional players. I think Diallo is an off-guard, like Oweh. Same for Wilkins.

If he stops the useless dribbling, rotates the ball, takes drives when there and focuses on rebounding, he'll be okay.

not sure zoom meshes well with anyone......dribbles the ball forever. not really explosive or quick. doesn't pass it well. cant shoot. i dont see much in his game other than mid range paint shots which i dont think there are many opportunities for.

morton led or at the top of "wins" during summer camp....i dont really know what goes into all that but i'd give him serious minutes to see what he brings you.
