I wish being the 2nd choice for 40 top recruits over a 3 year period was some measure of success, but we all know that we’re not even a legitimate option.

I highly doubt we can get a 5* guard to come here considering our 2 starting guards and top backup (whose father is an assistant coach) all can come back next year.
ESPECIALLY when our coach is universally considered to be on the hot seat.

Dylan gets a ton wrong and is awful at reading the room on these recruits. He also deletes stuff when he’s wrong. Every recruit supposedly tells him the visit went great. Diggs is Arizonas to lose.

Ask yourself if any kid is coming to UK with Pope getting thrown out of here as a possibility. That's being used in all negative recruitment. I'm not sure what he's selling other than $$ at this point.

For sure. Losing Wilson hurt. Popes offense isn’t one to highlight someone like Wilson. He did what was best for him and it paid off for his nba aspirations. But that guy really thinking we Told Caleb no 3 months before Mo committed idk what else to tell

I think everyone understands that. It’s not rocket science that you need talent to win. But after our portal haul last year most were picking Kentucky to play in final four if not win it all. It didn’t work out. We will see how it works out this year. I really like this team and how it’s set up.

Agree. Gotta get top talent either portal or freshman. When I say top talent I dont mean 6 million dollar shooters. I mean basketball players that can do it all. Take their man off the dribble, shoot, pass, rebound, play defense.

I love Mom but hes a spot up shooter. We will be asking why Pope don't run plays for him all season to get a shot. But that's not how it works for a big slow shooter like him. You cant just run a play and hes open automatically. Hes not a quick guard that can use screens to his advantage. I get running plays for him will work sometimes but just like last game we are wondering why he didnt shoot much. Hes a statue. Not much you can do but hope the other team doesn't focus on him.

I also get theres people going to argue he can create. Turn around one footer fade away middys isn't my definition of creating. Guy needs to get on the block and go to work. Standing on the perimeter all season isnt going to get us anywhere.

I love him being on the team. Its just not a good sign when hes the prize.
