Run defense is amazingly bad right now they just run right up the middle and when we try it we get stuffed
Tough to call a run on 3rd and 10.Pressure into Chiles' first INT of the season.
Agree that we should just be running it at this point. That's what's working.
Yeah, the defense stopped him twice on fourth down, and held them to field goals twice, but a better team converts those. This is not an impressive game.Team just hasn't had juice since the first quarter. If Rutgers had a functional QB this would be a close game.
He’s not Persa yet, but we’re 7 games into this thing with him and the sky is kinda the limitQB is so critical for this team and for college football in general. Chiles makes a mistake, and then he comes down and scores. He's not Persa, but he makes things happen like that. Chip chose the right transfer.
I hate that call. Even if there were early contact (which there wasn't), I hate that the refs reward underthrown balls. The refs assumed that PI.
I mean, the story of the game, at least in the negative side, is that our offense got really sloppy and sleepy for most of two quarters and the run defense became pathetic. We did well on KJ Duff, but two backup QBs and they have a pair of 100+ yard rushers.
