Kentucky Texas Tech Game Thread

[Runt#1969]

TT coach angry. he should be. They don't really look good without Toppin

[MidseasonTweak]

Williams and Wilkins could form a scrappy backcourt for us

Looks like better chemistry than when Zoom is out there

[megablue]

Seriously, Zoom played with a NBA lottery pick and Washington had a losing record. Who would sign a point guard for a team that sucked. A culture of winning matters.

Kepnang played for 16-17 Washington, too.

[Major_Tom]

I found it. ESPN app just sucks. Search "Kentucky" and it goes "Oh you mean this VB game tomorrow?" smdh.

Agree, it sucks. It was built for betters and never redesigned

[TX Wildcat]

Mason Williams is good. Simple as.

He should be on the floor 85% of every game!

[TheDude73]

This Wilkins / Williams guard combo is fantastic.

[PooPooPeePeePoo]

Wilkins at the 1, Williams at the 2. Let Zoom sit

[Walker34]

Zoom needs to be a 8 min a game guy tops. Can Morton run point? If so when he gets back. Diallo needs to not play at all.

[bbnkat02]

of course Atwood hit a prayer floater

[ala_kat2]

It’s not even close, Mason Williams needs to be on the floor as much as possible.

[MidseasonTweak]

This has been my favorite lineup. Needs to be it going forward

[Catastic5]

We’re pretty evenly matched with Texas Tech.

[Cliffhanger82]

We get waxed one on one drives - defense needs work

[Anon722800]

I'll be shocked if we finish above .500 this season. Not even trying to be negative, just don't see any star power at all.

Rainmaker legit said we had three possible lottery picks and five first rounders

[TheDude73]

Williams not starting over Zoom reminds me of when Cal tried to start Quade over SGA.

And what an idiot Cal looks like now...

[CELTICAT]

Looks like better chemistry than when Zoom is out there

tough discussion needs to be had

[gbl97]

Momcilovic turnaround fade away three. Missed it, but it was good shot selection. I'm here for it.

[OldScratchBlues]

Wait... we are 1-11 from 3?

Bricks flying tonight. How bout that "this is a great 3 point shooting team" hype.

[chroix]

Wilkins and Diallo are way less productive on the court together than they are when one is out with Williams subbed in.

[UKCowboys]

I would play them 30 minutes a night together

[Jamal Mercerr]

Moreno is the weakest big man we’ve ever had.

Rob Lock would dominate him.

[bbnkat02]

eh...that's the sport now. It's guard play...and if they have good guards you have to limit penetration.

[katwest]

Use the back board Moreno.

Hes on the bench with a hamstring injury.

[Runt#1969]

allowing these straight line drives should not be happening

[Farsight Clone]

Will Stein is verifiable proof at that from his time at Oregon. Pope's best success was his s16 his first year.

[TFCat11]

The Diallo experiment needs to end.

[Catastic5]

We’re up by 4 at the half. I seriously don’t know what that means when opposing team is working without their best player.

[OldScratchBlues]

Moreno is the weakest big man we’ve ever had.

Post of the night.

[bbnkat02]

Had a really good run and then went to stupid ball.

But being down 8? And going in up 4?

I'll take it

Half Time At Rupp
TT- 33
Cats- 37

[Big BlueBeard]

Moreno 0-12 on block attempts with their drives right at him. Guy cannot get off the floor and everyone knows it.

[legalbeagle123]

Defense sucks again.

[MidseasonTweak]

Defense looks night and day better than anything displayed last season and that I like

[chattanogawildcat]

Zoom goes out and so do the turnovers.

[Haggin_Hall_1983]

Offense has no structure. No screens, pick, rolls. We looked much better on defense the last 7 minutes of the half. GBB!

[Anon722800]

Okay. I’m liking this now.

40-0

[Runt#1969]

up by 4. We played better in our stretch of better play than they did against us in ours, hence, up by 4 at half.

Finally picked up the energy and did some things better. Defense was better and what led to coming back for the lead.

[Big BlueBeard]

allowing these straight line drives should not be happening

Moreno can’t do a thing about them and they know it.

[bbnkat02]

11 ASTS on 14 MFG is good.

[cornbreadnmilk]

Pope was spot on about this being great outside shooting team. We have Milan and uh well no other good shooters. Great job Pope!!
