Don’t look now but 2 of the Al-iases are conversing.
It may not be inability as Schiano said a few weeks ago that the DC hiring process was a distraction that had an impact. Of course when some of us told Al this as it was happening in real time, he rejected the concept. ‘Opportunity cost’ isn’t limited to money…..it’s time also.No they didn’t. And the transfer class reflects Schiano’s inability to assess and recruit talent even though he hasn’t same amount of money as NW
NIL has very little to do with it. This same QB had 5 INTs all last season. How did our staff make him worse? No, there are no teams with better facilities than Northwestern. These are the best facilities money can buy. They spared no expense.
Next, we lost to UMass and BC because our QB had bad games. Had we paid $2M for a QB, like UVA did, we’d be 4-2, rather than 2-4.
Thankfully, our qb is playing a lot better than he did the first game. But it took a lot for him to. Get to this point.
money and facilities get you an opportunity. But it’s up to the players to win the game. This is why Michigan almost loses to Western Michigan, despite having every advantage.
Lonergan had a good game. It’s easier to have a good game versus a bad team. He, and the other 10 guys on the field with him, will need to do it again versus Northwestern before I get too excited. It’s called coachspeak for a reason, though Northwestern has a good team.
Did you watch the game Saturday? We were multiple and executed as well. The quarterback had a great game last Saturday and he has a chance to replicate his performance against Nortwestern. 291 passing yards with 3 TDs to go along with an interception. I’m starting to wonder whether our QB is starting a Mike Teel 2008 performance stretch. This is exactly what we need.
It’s easier for QBs to have a good game against teams that struggle to defend against the pass. Northwestern is #100 in passing yards allowed. Indiana did well against them, as did Michigan State. Duff and Carter should have big gamesLonergan had a good game. It’s easier to have a good game versus a bad team. Harasmyiak knew what plays were coming based on his experience here, so he coached his defense accordingly. With the Left Tackle unable to block anyone, the quarterback was under pressure all night. Hard for any quarterback to succeed under the Circumstances.NIL has very little to do with it. This same QB had 5 INTs all last season. How did our staff make him worse?
Answer it.
So Joe H game planned based on data available to him and our coaches didn’t? Yay Greg!Harasmyiak knew what plays were coming based on his experience here, so he coached his defense accordingly. Joe worked for Greg and his defense practiced against Kirk. His defense knew what was coming. So Joe H game planned based on data available to him and our coaches didn’t? Yay Greg!
Does this mean they'll both be sucked into vortex, never to be heard from again?Don’t look now but 2 of the Al-iases are conversing.
Highly doubt it.Does this mean they'll both be sucked into vortex, never to be heard from again?
But Kirk practiced against Joes defense so he knew what was coming. Al is retardedJoe worked for Greg and his defense practiced against Kirk. His defense knew what was coming.
On the flip side UMass had a very good Offensive Coordinator who was coaching there for the first time. They also had a new qb who was the difference in the game. We didn’t know what was coming.
Shouldn't KC have changed parts of the offense in that case? And why couldn't the Left Tackle block anybody? Was he overwhelmed by the rotation of Lawrence Taylors that UMass acquired through their massive NIL budget, rich donors, and palatial fieldhouse? And wasn't one of your excuses that the offense struggled against UMass because they didn't start a guy who was so badly overwhelmed that he got benched against Maryland when he DID start?Harasmyiak knew what plays were coming based on his experience here, so he coached his defense accordingly. With the Left Tackle unable to block anyone, the quarterback was under pressure all night. Hard for any quarterback to succeed under the Circumstances.
For the whole game? That's a coaching problem.Joe worked for Greg and his defense practiced against Kirk. His defense knew what was coming.
On the flip side UMass had a very good Offensive Coordinator who was coaching there for the first time. They also had a new qb who was the difference in the game. We didn’t know what was coming.
Yep works both ways. Easier to scheme against a d you know than an o you know. But Kirk practiced against Joes defense so he knew what was coming. Al is retarded
Nailed it.That's been the case from before 2024 through this season so far. RU has left a lot of wins on the table. They should have been at least 9-3 in 2024 and 8-4 in 2025. 2 of the losses this season were disgraceful. None of the losses in winnable games had anything to do with facilities and NIL. They had everything to do with coaching.
So what's the excuse for KC not knowing what UMass was doing defensively? His offense practiced against Joe's defense.Joe worked for Greg and his defense practiced against Kirk. His defense knew what was coming.

True….HOWEVER….they’re 25th in Pass Efficiency Defense (interesting that you left that out so you could fit your personal narrative). Also, btw, 26th in Scoring D.It’s easier for QBs to have a good game against teams that struggle to defend against the pass. Northwestern is #100 in passing yards allowed.
EXCUSES as usual!!!Harasmyiak knew what plays were coming based on his experience here, so he coached his defense accordingly. With the Left Tackle unable to block anyone, the quarterback was under pressure all night. Hard for any quarterback to succeed under the Circumstances.
Doesn’t fit the narrative!!!!So what's the excuse for KC not knowing what UMass was doing defensively? His offense practiced against Joe's defense.
There wasn’t an issue with KC. The line didn’t block and the quarterback didn’t execute. Impossible for the offense to execute that way.So what's the excuse for KC not knowing what UMass was doing defensively? His offense practiced against Joe's defense.
their 25th ranked pass efficiency defense isn’t going to help them cover Korey Duff or Dyzier Carter. Bombs Away!True….HOWEVER….they’re 25th in Pass Efficiency Defense (interesting that you left that out so you could fit your personal narrative). Also, btw, 26th in Scoring D.
Every remaining game is the most important one, and Northwestern is a particularly formidable opponent. My friend is a near billionaire, having started an ad serving company when the internet was just in its infancy. This is the caliber of graduate Northwestern produces. Mike Greenberg of ESPN is another prominent graduate. The Sullivan Family has donated over a billion dollars to finance a new stadium and an exceptional Fieldhouse. Academically, they are one notch below Harvard.
These days, they have a pretty good football team, aided in part by the best facilities money can buy, and significant NIL support. I watched them absolutely destroy Penn State on the ground, so the thought of their running game going up against our defense is scary. Aiden Chiles is a dual threat, with strong running skills, a strong arm, and excellent decision making. On the year, he’s thrown for 1,398 yards and 9 touchdowns with no interceptions, which is pretty phenomenal. He sports an impressive 70.5% completion %, which is phenomenal, and is one of the better passers in college football. He is the biggest reason Northwestern sports a 5-1 record, destroying nearly everyone they played, though losing to Indiana, and beating MSU in a close game. He is complemented by a very strong running game. They destroyed Penn State on the ground with Caleb Komolafe rushing for 188 yards and Joseph Himan adding 162 yards rushing. Griffin Wilde is their best receiver and he has 482 receiving yards on 30 catches.
Their defense is allowing a stingy 17 points per game, and is led by #33 Braydon Brus, who has 52 tackles and 3 sacks on the season.
As formidable as Northwestern is, Rutgers has a fighting chance. Korey Duff Jr. is having a phenomenal All American caliber season. Dyzier Carter broke out against Maryland with an 88 receiving yard effort. If Antwan Raymond is banged up, Clay Thevinin will step up and give the running game a boost. Our prospects mostly depend on Dylan Lonergans right shoulder. He has a great game, then we’ll have a great chance. If he struggles we will struggle.
Defense won’t stop anyone so we’ll have to score.
Rutgers 42
Bad Guys 37
Why couldn't the line block anybody? Why didn't the QB execute? Is it possible that KC not changing the offense when going against someone that saw his offense in practice day in and day out made it difficult for the QB to execute because they knew what was coming? There wasn’t an issue with KC. The line didn’t block and the quarterback didn’t execute. Impossible for the offense to execute that way.
their 25th ranked pass efficiency defense isn’t going to help them cover Korey Duff or Dyzier Carter. Bombs Away!![]()
He'd just say we aren't donating enough. He doesn't think coaching is the problem. If NW is the "point of inflection" does that mean if Rutgers loses (or is blown out) the you would call for Schiano to be fired?
Putting Duff and Carter in the same breath lol…. OK.There wasn’t an issue with KC. The line didn’t block and the quarterback didn’t execute. Impossible for the offense to execute that way.
their 25th ranked pass efficiency defense isn’t going to help them cover Korey Duff or Dyzier Carter. Bombs Away!![]()
I don’t think Greg’s sons are as far up their dad’s *** as Al.He'd just say we aren't donating enough. He doesn't think coaching is the problem.
No, because they bout a better transfer class. We have an uphill battle, but have an opportunity, nonetheless, due to the high school kids like Duff we recruited. If NW is the "point of inflection" does that mean if Rutgers loses (or is blown out) the you would call for Schiano to be fired?
Hard to win when your offensive and defensive lines were getting blown up and a HC who got thoroughly out smarted by his disciple.QB had 4 turnovers. 3 ints and lost a fumble. Hard to win when your QB turns it over 4 titimes.
Welllll, he didn't play against UMass last year is the obvious answer.NIL has very little to do with it. This same QB had 5 INTs all last season. How did our staff make him worse?
Answer it.
It will if Vigna the MVP gets snaps. There wasn’t an issue with KC. The line didn’t block and the quarterback didn’t execute. Impossible for the offense to execute that way.

We beat Nortwestern or Michigan and no one will care about what happened against UMass.Hard to win when your offensive and defensive lines were getting blown up and a HC who got thoroughly out smarted by his disciple.
They hired better coaches. Chip Kelly alone is a better coach than the entire RU staff stacked up on top of each other. No, because they bout a better transfer class. We have an uphill battle, but have an opportunity, nonetheless, due to the high school kids like Duff we recruited.
Well, we beat Maryland and no one has forgotten. You're running out of teams that RU needs to beat to forget the disgraceful UMass and BC losses. We beat Nortwestern or Michigan and no one will care about what happened against UMass.
Wrong. 100% WRONG.We beat Nortwestern or Michigan and no one will care about what happened against UMass.
RetardedAl didn’t think that hot take through. As usual. So what's the excuse for KC not knowing what UMass was doing defensively? His offense practiced against Joe's defense.
He’s go back to field houseHe'd just say we aren't donating enough. He doesn't think coaching is the problem.
We all know he has mental health issuesDon’t look now but 2 of the Al-iases are conversing.
