The Lakers cut Dalton Knecht to keep Bronny

You’re never gonna get me to feel sorry for a Tennessee player. Likewise, it’s the 15th roster spot, so who cares. The Lakers or any other team could give that spot to Brad Calipari with a deep v neck showing off his earned not given tattoo and it would have no impact on me or the team’s season.

The obsessed with the James family but hates them group strikes again.
You got it wrong. I don’t hate LeBron. In fact, I’m a fan of him as a player. He’s unbelievable.

I was just struck when I saw that Bronny survived yet another cut. I figured his dad leaving meant the end for him too. It might be different if he had EVER shown legit NBA promise, but he never has. Hell, even in college he stunk …and was only the 8th man in minutes for a crappy losing USC team.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so lacking in player credentials stick in the big leagues for so long. So I think it’s fair to bring that up for discussion.

Not really fair to critize his college season when he just came back from a heart attack. The rest I agree with though. He's an average G-League player.

Despite the facts that Bronny: 1) was awful in the pre-season; 2) has been awful his entire Laker career; 3) was an awful bench player even in college; 4) has never ever looked like a legit NBA player; and 5) his daddy is no longer a Laker.

How does this make sense? It’s crazy how much influence LeBron has in that League.
That is insanity. I can’t believe they cut Knecht. He went from being a main role player to this fast.

It is a valid point and totally the correct view. These people who defend him constantly blow my mind. He is maybe the worst player in the league. He never deserved a draft spot let alone a roster spot.

Would not be surprised, knowing Lebron he had an air tight contract drawn up by his lawyers to ensure his no talent son couldn't get cut for a period of time. If not the Lakers are idiots, they should have never allowed Lebron to force them to draft a kid who would have never been signed by any team.

People still watch the NBA?
It’s hard to believe there are people who follow the league, have a favorite team, and can actually do it. I literally fall asleep at NBA games. They’re awful. Pro sports in general are all trash. The NFL is better but honestly, what’s the point? All business, games don’t mean ****. Ego battles between owners and their decisions. “Who tf is that” coaches, shuffle them in and out. I have no idea what the allure is. Always a Bucs fan I guess. Have tried to roll with Cinci since moving to Lex, can’t handle the orange. I’m originally from Tennessee, just can’t do it. Not as bad as seeing UK fans say Manning is their favorite QB all time though. Cannot believe a UK fan would root for Peyton Manning but I’ve met a few. Gross.

How many people still watch and care about the Not Basketball Association. It’s not a surprise someone like bronny remains on a roster. The whole league is one big Joke.

Lakers fans are saying Bronny has shown improvement and has more upside and most importantly, is cheaper than Knecht who apparently has been downright awful as of lately.
Didn’t Knecht have a 2 year guaranteed contract? Never mind, did not realize he has been out 2 years already.
