Finally, a reason to go to Wizards' games again. Can't wait for my son to come home for the holidays and catch a couple games. He was a young boy when John Wall was a rookie. Our first ever Wizards' game together was a titanic battle between Wall and Rondo when he was a Celtic, with Wall hitting (banking!) a game winning 3. Great night.

AD looks like, at least for now, he gives a bleep again. Also, Tyler Herro getting a fresh start with Milwaukee was in this game.

My expectations are realistic, but I'd truly love for AD to have a great career chapter in Washington, and become a favorite in this town. When I first moved here right out of college, it's crazy how much people loved Wes Unseld. Grevey had a good run here, and opened a very successful sports bar in northern Virginia. Wall was terribly mishandled but was loved by the fans. It can be a solid NBA town if given a chance.

I hope so too, enjoy time with the son catching up on everything and talking hoops, football too !!!

With all but 2 teams having played games to kick off the NBA season, I can predict one thing - The Kings were picked preseason as the worst team in the league. I'd say that's a pretty safe bet to finish that way.

The rest of the bad teams looked like what we expected - gonna be a pretty bad season for some.

Anthony Edwards dropping 45/10 was ridiculous good. GIannis with 35 was fearsomely good. But the story of that game was LaMelo Ball and how well he meshed with all those guys and the 50 three pointers shot ? They hit 42% (?) ... If they can keep that up, it's crazy.

Great to see Davis throwing down. Kat was fine. I don't think the three guard lineup for the Spurs is going to work if they stay with it. The thunder and OKC look ready for everyone including the alien Wemby. Randle, Maxey, Booker, former Cats looking good.

The trash talking from Lendeborg to Doncic, I get it young fella. Be agressive and confident. But when the guy is throwing behind the back passes for layups and hitting 3's from mid court, in your face, he drops 28 tops in the game both teams, and you lose.... well. No he doesn't suck.

But we get why you are bitching in the first game. Ya gotta lot to learn about how some players ***** and moan (ahem, Doncic?) about getting fouled all the time and flopping ?

Yeah, we get it. Listen to Draymond, you'll be fine. Just forget trying to get a guy that's probably going to be the leading scorer in the league this year, and work within the Jordan Rules framework some players get.

Interesting NBA season to start off.

Everyone enjoy your day !

Because of injuries and the occasional tendency to play passively, AD has never quite reached the heights I'd hoped for.

Still, he's considered a top 50-60 player all time. The most recent ranking I've seen was by Bleacher Report last year. Voters were comprised of front office execs and sportswriters. Davis came in at #45.

He's had ONE season in the past 6 where he missed fewer than 26 games. He's a great player who can't reliably stay on the floor.

I'm glad that he got away from Lebum. Would love to see him have a career year for Washington.
You're glad AD got away from the guy who helped him win an NBA championship? Both averaged 25+. You're speaking as if you didn't know Davis won a title with the Lakers lol.

I’m still shocked at how good LaMelo Ball turned out. He ran the NBA’s best offensive when Charlotte was healthy last year, it was insanely efficient. I’m not surprised that Ant is going off now.
