Inside word on TOS says Kraft is gone the Monday after Thanksgiving.

I don't understand the AD obsession. What's done is done. Unless you're worried about WVB or other teams that are not up to our expectations, bitching about the AD right now is useless.

MC is the coach and will be for the next 3 years at least. The AD is irrelevant now. He could be replaced and his replacement could be replaced before we give MC his 3 years and it wouldn't change a thing.
Need to boost NIL. A new AD could conceivably do that especially if the current base of big donors have lost confidence in Kraft.

The team won't be much better after Campbell's third year so why wait
on firing Kraft? His hiring actions (defections from the program) set the program back, he can't get us into the bigger spending NIL segment and it is doubtful his hire, Campbell, is going to elevate us into a serious contending playoff team for multiple years if ever.

You could also fire him for how bad hoops is but no one cares.

He will not be fired until attendance takes a dive. Be patient. The way things are going, that may well be sooner then you think.
I think it's more about a contract issue (buyout) and a clause concerning on time completion of the stadium project. Things are so bad that there might be a mutual agreement for "parting of the ways" but that clause needs to be defined. Does he get a huge bonus if the project is completed on time, even though he is no longer the AD?
PSU may be willing to eat one but both is a bridge too far. I'd be stunned in PSU didn't have their legal teams looking into all options.

Like they did with the money grab, establishing credibility?

PSU basketball has won more games in October than PSU hockey and football combined . Maybe Kraft placed a Kalshi bet to pay off the debt? 😂

Dude, have you seen the ticket prices for purdue....that stadium is going to have 50K people max
I thought the same thing for USC and the white out. Lower ticket prices on resale market are allowing more fans who would otherwise be priced out to attend.

The fact that it is Halloween could keep some fans away. PSU got its money. Maybe some more fireworks and drone shows could help

The idiotic (truly - I D I O T I C) bonus bit they added to Brozo's contract vav the stadium is not much, compared to the contract buyout. So that is not likely to be a significant issue. I wouldn't expect.

The idea of "Penn State Legal Team" working on the situation? That is not something that should set people's minds at ease (after seeing what happened w BGJ)

How on earth did the BoT and Neeli approve Krafty The Clown's sweetheart deal in late 2024???? Everything Franklin was complaining about regarding this clown empty-suit proved 100% accurate, but the powers that be not only signed a huge raise and ironclad $18 Million guarantee for Krafty The Clown, but they doubled-up on their inanity by choosing to fire Franklin at the same time (which is absolutely what they did with that inane late 2024 contract for Krafty The Clown). Is their anyone who can explain this inanity from the bureaucrats running PSU? Is anyone accountable for elevating this moron the way he was in late 2024? "Doctor" Kraft - the Doctor of Destruction and Idiocy.

Well said, it does seem like promises are made and not kept. Actually, the mistakes in leadership in this organization extend beyond even Kraft. The decisions dating back to Paterno's firing have been a cascading example of poor leadership, wasteful spending, and corruption. I'm not absolving Kraft, quite the opposite, who the Hell would have signed off on such a contract considering his track record here?
Krafty was red hot after the 24/25 season and was a finalist for AD of the year. Football, WVB, Hockey amongst others were riding high. All were supposed to contend for national titles. Excitement about the stadium Reno and an outdoor hockey game to celebrate Gavin McKenna was on the slate and then it all went bad.

Now our fall sports are plummeting and embarrassing. Rutgers and Robt Morris ride into town and blast the soccer and Hocjey teams. What the hell happened 16 months ago? Now everything appears to be toxic. Advertisers/sponsors/donors are not signing up for this! NIL is a mess. What a fall from grace.

Wrestling is the only program to continue excelling. Basketball programs are the absolute joke of the conference bottoming out last year as both were basement teams. Door mats.

What happened in the summer of 2025 to derail Krafty and his plan to win championships?

Old Main is not much better… our Dear Ole State is under heavy shelling with no reinforcements on the way. But as Baghdad Bob once said… “we are pounding them at the airport”! Dark Ages are upon us.

Assuming the football “team” continues to sh|t the bed this season, causing home attendance to take a nosedive, it will be impossible for PSU’s leaderers to ignore. All this would be against the backdrop of the $750 million stadium renovation. Kraft may not survive it.

I thought PSU had a Football GM named Derek Hoodjer. Why does his position exist if everyone here throws the NIL and other issues (other than the firing/hiring last year) on the AD?

I've never heard of this guy. Never seen him. Never read an interview with him.

Now, Penn State GM. Came from, guess where?
