Rutgers climbs ahead of Washington for 3rd place in the B1G. Gotta beat Michigan on Friday night.

What's our odds of making the NCAA Tourney? I know NCAA has 48 teams and if we Win B1G Tournament were Automatic, but do we get in otherwise?
Our RPI is 19th so we're in as of now. Handle business vs Michigan and we are all but a lock. Last Bracketology I saw had 7 B1G teams in including RU.

Dang, Rutgers soccer is a force to be reckoned with in the B1G now. The are back to "receiving votes" in the poll. Great job by the Scarlet Knights.
They have 6 losses, and their RPI is only 19, so their going to have to come up with a few more marquis wins, I think. But I think they are capable, especially if they can get into the B1G tournament and win one there (it will be an RPI builder)...

You guys have a rosier outlook than I do about it (plus I'm so out of date that I thought only 4 teams make the B1G tournament). I hope you're right; this team is good enough for the NCAAs, after a slow start. I'm not very good at understanding who gets tournament bids in any sport...
Michigan is sitting at 78th in the RPI. If we don’t beat them, we don’t deserve to go to the NCAA. Hopefully we have another solid victory like we did against Penn State.
Hopefully Rutgers wins.
Maryland won there 3-2 (title on this video is wrong) last week on a fluke own-goal with five minutes remaining, just seconds after Michigan had tied it up 2-2.
The Terps have been fading after a strong start but are still #11 with RPI of 4 or so...

It looks like the next 2 games will determine the NCAA bid...Beat Michigan and MSU and were probably a 3/4 seed in B1G Tournament and a pretty good lock for NCAA
Beat Michigan/lose to MSU probably a 5/6 seed in B1G and good chance for NCAA bid
Lose to Michigan/MSU....might get knocked from B1G tourney and have a 7-8-1 record praying for NCAA bid...if we get #6 seed we'll need to win a couple in B1G tourney
Obviously, ties will make a change in these scenarios
