Gophers with 6 linemen - 4 OL and 2 DL - out or questionable. that has to be a big concern for Fleck & Co.

He has a lower leg injury. Not sure I follow the point of him transferring to be a depth piece. Not sure if you are aware, but Iowa brought in a decent amount of youth from lower levels this year from the portal. This was a great move from the staff, we haven't had luck brining in OL starters, as they need to develop.

Pre-season, Trent was expected to be a 2nd-string guard, per our media guys. Why portal players that still need time to develop? Is that a good strategy for winning now?

Seeing as he is a Soph, I am 100% jumping the gun a bit on calling him a bust.

Lastly - Lower leg injury. Got it.

Any transfer that makes the two-deeps at Iowa, especially the OL, is a quality player that has already developed skills.

Also the “got it” comment regarding his listed injury suggests it’s bogus or that he is faking it. WTF is wrong with you?

I don't think Wilson has even dressed for a game yet this season. This is also the first time all season that he wasn't listed as backup LG in the Monday released Game Notes.

Kirk stated this week " Trent Wilson has a lower leg injury. I don’t think it’s too serious. I don’t know if he’ll be ready this week, a backup linemen." So I'm assuming he has dressed.
