I miss big AlProbably already posted but in case it isn't Alvaro and Louisville vs Kansas on ESPNU
He is playing like a point forward.I miss big Al
He's really facilitating and playing well for L'ville
early 2nd half. 6 pts on 2-3 from deep, has 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Really doing good job moving the ball.
money and the fact we needed a 5 with size and Al wanted to play more stretch 4. It was best for both parties to part ways unfortunatelyHe is playing like a point forward.
Too bad he got too expensive for hawks.
He has come a long way from those 1st few games last year when he looked a little overwhelmed.
Louisville has the biggest payroll in country so he did well
Yes, definitely a reality check as we approach the BB season.man, L'ville is gonna be a problem.
Their 7'2" 240lbs Freshman Ekezie WOW!!! 4-6 from deep and a rim protector
And this is an exhibition...wait until they get some games under them. Both teams look very good.man, L'ville is gonna be a problem.

How many points for AF?And this is an exhibition...wait until they get some games under them. Both teams look very good.
How many points for AF?
And Trey Kaufman-Renn will soon be joining them.Kansas leading scorers, council and white,20points each, are playing their 5th or 6th? season of college ball with a friendly local court injunction.
NCAA is fighting it in court.

F* Kansas. All of which I thought the Big 12 made a conference rule about. Guessing they don't have the stones to tell Kansas to get in line line the SEC to LSU.
Don't know about basketball with all the court cases, but the Big 12 did have the stones to stand up to Texas Tech on Football and Sorsby. All of which I thought the Big 12 made a conference rule about. Guessing they don't have the stones to tell Kansas to get in line line the SEC to LSU.
If I recall, Al was getting approximately $1.3M and he wanted more. The numbers didn't work if we wanted McKeever. We will miiss his outside game vs.Manyawu at the 4 but we should be stronger rebounding. I'm also looking for big things from Thompson and Harris also.money and the fact we needed a 5 with size and Al wanted to play more stretch 4. It was best for both parties to part ways unfortunately
Not necessarily "wanted" more... but his value on the open market was prohibitive of us filling the needed gaps in the roster. If I recall, Al was getting approximately $1.3M and he wanted more. "Money Shot."Guy hit the biggest shot in over 25 years for Iowa. For him I’ll make an exception and actually wish him well after transferring, he took a big weight off of every Iowa fans shoulders.
I heard in the $2M range. Not necessarily "wanted" more... but his value on the open market was prohibitive of us filling the needed gaps in the roster.
So him leaving was sort of win/win.
We were able to land the post size needed and a guard in portal, while stashing some cash for the Cayden Daughtry sweepstakes
Alvaro was able to goto program where he won't be needed to play the 5, and he got bags of cash.
I heard in the $2M range.
And i'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. Al's a good complimentary player, but he's not a star. Absolute nonsense going on.I heard in the $2M range.
This. Inconsistent. But, who knows? Might be another "Money Shot" left. Was a “Bum Slayer” until Tournament play. Glad to have had his contributions, when he contributed but he’s not worth $2M any day.
His “might” ability combined with the off-chance he “might” impact a meaningful game does not create $2M worth of value, for me.This. Inconsistent. But, who knows? Might be another "Money Shot" left.
