Who knows but I can see us finding a way to lose to them and in the process making it a career highlight for the interim coach.Does Maryland have a Terry Smith like figure to keep that team together deep into a totally lost season?

LOLI dont believe our guys can contact anyone unless they are in the portal.
OMGMy thoughts....
- AFAIK, CMC and Locksley haven't crossed paths much professionally
- Regardless, maybe CMC would consider Locksley for some type of position to, at minimum, shore up east coast recruiting
- OTOH, I'd guess Locksley would be looking for, at minimum, an OC job
- CMC wouldn't be interested in that due to his loyalty to Mouser
- In the extremely unlikely event Locksley lands at PSU in any capacity, it'd be a strange turn of events if Locks helped get PSU to a place where Franklin couldn't, given the reported animosity between them
Same name different guy.
But there is a pretty good podcast with Our Andre Powell, Derren Perry and Keith Goganious
That was me that was misremembering the wrong Abdul/Abdur.your mis remembering the wrong guy. Abdul-Rahim played defensive back for Mesa Community College from 1995 through 1996, before transferring to San Diego State. He played for the Aztecs from 1997 through 1999. Following his college career, he competed for the San Diego Riptide.[1]
The WR that played at MD was Azizuddin Abdur-Ra'oof, who played for KC Chiefs. I think Azziuddin may have had a job in the AD dept at MD at one time, although not sure.
No that was me that got the Abdul names mixed up.No.....Andre Powell played LB at PSU until 1992, and then got drafted into NFL. Played a couple of years. Not Abdul-Rahim.

November?Wait -- fired in the middle of the season in October due to lousy team performance? Who does that? Bet they don't wait until December to hire a new head coach though.
He's getting a nice parting gift. That's a lot of crabcakes.
Pat Kraft says” Hold my beer”!!!I wish I could be paid like that for sucking.

He is holding out for his "dream school" now............I guess that he didn't choose Maryland for his chosen major.
You have to ask yourseelf if he is a four star with an apparent pompous attitude, why did he choose Maryland in the first place? He is holding out for his "dream school" now............
Yep. Huff @ UMD would be a problem for PSU getting a foothold in the DMV.Rumors flying around Charles Huff right now. Lets hope that's not true. Great guy with huge potential at this level.
huff wont be a problem, he's an idiot looking for his next job, wont be satisfied until hes at PSU or Alabama.Yep. Huff @ UMD would be a problem for PSU getting a foothold in the DMV.
Why is that a bad thing?huff wont be a problem, he's an idiot looking for his next job, wont be satisfied until hes at PSU or Alabama.
Have you ever heard of back channels?on the phone to whom? Maryland staff should be trying for a job. I dont believe our guys can contact anyone unless they are in the portal.
Charles is turning out to be pretty good.Rumors flying around Charles Huff right now. Lets hope that's not true. Great guy with huge potential at this level.
I have always had the impression that he is very shady as a recruiter but that may not matter much anymore with NILI have no expectation that he'll end up at PSU under Campbell, but I wish that he would because he'd be a great recruiter at the very least. He was a really good o-coordinator under Saban at Bama, and that's probably his niche.
Who has been good under campbell? No thanks I don't want anything to do with him. Everyone was good under Saban.
You would be correct on both counts. He got into some trouble at MD when he was recruiting and thought he was doing some prettyI have always had the impression that he is very shady as a recruiter but that may not matter much anymore with NIL
Player wise? Sowell?Who has been good under campbell?
On the other hand, they might be riddled with opt outs as key players will have already found new deals.Great, now they’ll have a new coach that motivates them to play at their best for when we have to play them.
He has already been to PSU & Alabama as RB coach.huff wont be a problem, he's an idiot looking for his next job, wont be satisfied until hes at PSU or Alabama.
Looks like sluggo is still mad that Huff left Marshallhuff wont be a problem, he's an idiot looking for his next job, wont be satisfied until hes at PSU or Alabama.

Yes borrow Pat Kraft’s phone book.Have you ever heard of back channels?
I would like to see anyone coach up this current roster. Not making excuses just pointing out the obvious.Who has been good under campbell?
That was my impression too.Looks like sluggo is still mad that Huff left Marshall
Really? More please.I have always had the impression that he is very shady as a recruiter but that may not matter much anymore with NIL
Geez:huff wont be a problem, he's an idiot looking for his next job, wont be satisfied until hes at PSU or Alabama.
OK, serious question for those who might know, is there anyone on that team we would want should they decide to hit the portal? I'm sure some will so who might they be?(Per Pete Nakos)
Staff should be on the phone right away - guys like Elee (DE), Washington (QB), Williams (RB), Durr Jr. (WR) would all play here over guys we're currently rolling out there. There are a handful of guys in their '27 class I'd kick the tires on too - Sullivan (CB), McAfee (WR), Graham (PA kid and RB).
I would like to see anyone coach up this current roster. Not making excuses just pointing out the obvious.
The staff assembled this roster. Where has the gm been hiding?I would like to see anyone coach up this current roster. Not making excuses just pointing out the obvious.
Yep, typical Locksley, not his fault. The reason he couldn’t keep good coordinators, especially on the offensive side of the ball is because he was the one who was doing all the play calling. Similar to someone else we know, they would put guard rails up for their coordinator and certain players, and thus limit their abilities.Interesting read:
