Signed a 2-year $8M contract earlier this year. Got into an altercation with a teammate at practice. Went out to his car to get a gun. Another teammate ran out and talked him down. He's now former Titans OL.

This write up reads like the team didn't have a choice but to release him, or at least the coach's statements do.

Perhaps, the Titans just decided best to just cut bait but also defend his character.

I heard he also took a dump in the team shower and the Titans starting QB stepped in it which started a fight.

I'm kind of mystified by the coach's comments. He pulled out a freaking gun and was heading back into the training facility.

Can't believe Cam Ward fell for the ol' Nashville Shower Bomb.

Although all things considered, that's about the least bad place to step in a big pile of shiit. And as someone who has had Labradors, I've had a weird amount of experience in this regard.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, he was singing his praises. Or did he just say he was going for it, and the teammate talked him out of it before he even reached for it? "Weapon did not leave the parking space" is tellingly specific, though.

Brother, just let them go outside. No need to shove the poor things into your shower.

Yeah. I'm reading that as he had just pulled the gun out of the car when the other teammate got to him.

Cutting bait was the right answer, but not sure I'd defend his "character".
