Hiller would be dumb to go to Florida. Holden is 1 foot out the door imo and they lose everyone. Duke will return the best player in the country and I believe if hiller reclassed he would be a 2 year guy.

As for cal not having a choice. He definitely had a choice and everyone who knew him said it from the beginning. He would leave Kentucky in a mess if he ever left because that is who he is. He could’ve stayed at Uk but his feelings got hurt and his ego can’t stand it. He got offered the world by his Arkansas buddy and then still wanted to backtrack and couldn’t.

No one is losing everyone this year, there is a 5th year rule. He could easily bring back Condon and Chinyelu, stick Hiller at the 3. If they get Daughtry, they can run a backcourt of Fland and him. That's once again a title team.

Golden could have one foot out the door, but to where? I doubt he stays in CBB and would need an NBA job to open up and want him.

I didn’t watch the game, but I can make an educated guess that Duke would destroy our team. I can say that by knowing our roster versus their roster. Seriously, if we lose less than 10 I’ll be absolutely shocked. I hate Duke as much or more than anyone, but I’m not stupid. Mark has just not done what needs to be done with recruiting that gives me any hope of being an elite team. As I’ve said a million times, I love Mark, but damn dude, he needs to win or go. So go win. Duke has more money and resources than any other school. Having team USA and head of NBA in your corner pushing players to you along with Nike makes it easy for them. We can think Cal for pissing Nike off when he refused to be in Phil Knights tourney. Also Duke hired an Ex Nike employee to be their GM.

Believe what you will. Kentucky just doesn’t have the resources behind them that Duke has at this point. Nike, team USA and Adam silver. That alone is more valuable than what any other school can offer. Kentucky has money and a fan base willing to do what it can which keeps us up there though that’s for sure.

These people have to be trolls. They’re calling anyone showing dissatisfaction with the direction of our program “trolls,” but how many freaking opposing fans have been saying “please extend Pope!”

Apparently we are being outbid on the regular. Whether it's NIL alone or (more likely) NIL plus other tangible advantages and dark money, we appear to be falling behind.

How much Pope plays in this is rightfully part of the equation, though.
