Hopefully it was something that forced Golesh's hand but isn't something that makes him nuclear. Like say blowing up on Golesh in front of the team, which is bad but could be a momentary lapse that he can learn from as opposed to doing something that would make it hard for a school to take him.

Well, it's Golesh. This may be him having to fix culture. Chances are good that Atkins will not learn his lesson for the next stop, but it's not a massive risk to take him. You take him if you can get him and the NIL is conditioned on behavior. If he comes and still hasn't learned his lesson, then you cut him lose and aren't really worse off unless you had another LB that passed on you because you took him.
