Tonight at 7 vs Tennessee.

I’m anxious to see this game. Tennessee is a top 10 team.

Idk who they have besides Juke Harris who we all know can score.

I’m guessing Sarr gets him.,,,

Think they got Aimes as well from Cal .
I’m just looking for rebounding and defense and a cut down of the turnovers.

I don’t think Foster is playing so more time for Rippey and Cam to get comfortable playing pg and allowing Blackwell to stay off the ball.

good game to see how they have progressed as a team since coming to campus in June.

Team looks really good. Was really happy with the addition of Blackwell; you guys know I love seniors. Looks like a final four team with depth and experience. Sarr looks like he made a big jump. No glaring weaknesses and I see no reason why we won't be a one seed. A lot of guys to keep happy but that is a good problem.
Hearing we are up big!

The defense from starters to bench looked really impressive for this to be so early . Howard and Williams look like true freshman. Rippey looks like a sophomore who’s played at this level . I was really impressed especially since Tennessee had three past ACC players on their roster. On to Kansas Sunday .

Great performance last night! We really don’t know how good Tennessee will be, but that was a good old fashioned *** whoopin last night. I’m super impressed with Sarr’s improvement and confidence. Wilkins is a pleasant surprise and Rip is going to get his well deserved minutes. I’m more excited about this “team” than our last two. If someone is having an off night, there’s plenty of others to step up. Looking forward to Sunday’s game at Kansas. It should tell us more.

Kansas also just got trey Hoffman-Renn and they have A. Reeves in the front court. Wanting to see where they start Stokes at the four or three.

I'm trying to not dribble down my leg with excitement, because expectations are always high with Duke, and the season hasn't really started yet. I've been waiting on a Duke team that has multiple 'dogs,' versus relying on one guy to shoulder the majority of the load. Don't get me wrong, I loved Cooper and Cam, but teams in March just made it tough on them, and they didn't get enough help.
I think we got several dogs on this squad though. My advice to the team this season is you better bring it, or you'll find yourself picking splinters.

I might be eating crow later on, but I don't think so.

I enjoy seeing guys like Wilkins develop and earn a role. It's as early as it can get but he looks like a key reserve. I'm sure lots of folks thought he was going to transfer.

My too early rotation opinion:

Top 9
Ngomba
Foster
Boozer
Rippey Jr
Sarr
Boumptje Boumptje lol
Blackwell
Wilkins
Sharnowski

Next Two
Howard
Williams

Next
Meyer

I think we’ll go only 9 deep in the toughest games. That doesn’t mean only 9 will play, it means 9 in the rotation.

We’ll go deeper against the weak teams.

Just my initial opinion.,,

I think we may see Meyers red shirt . He needs muscle to go with his tall frame .

Guys have been Developing under Coach Scheyer. It’s Awesome to Witness. The Duke practices alone are 2 Top 25 Teams going at it.

I think you got it. Cam Williams is a surprise to me but from what I’ve seen he’s not a rotation guy yet

Cam may need time to adjust, but he’s the #3 recruit in the class. He’s really good so I think he will factor in a lot more than what we’ve seen early.

I like the Boumtje and Big Vern comparison. They are very similar but he looks even better than Big Vern and a Big Vern was REALLY good. His upside is unreal and we get him for two years.

Like I said before, I hope Cam is strong mentally. It's gotta be tough for him to think he is coming here as a top 5 HS player and to be a starter at PF then for us to get Boom Boom and now he's deep on the bench. Hope he can get it together because we're going to need him at some point in the season.

There is no more red shirts. I do agree he'll sit for a year to develop.

Just finished the watch. Damn, couldn’t be more impressed with Wilkins. He looks like a player. D was suspect but Kansas hit a ton of 3s to stay in it. When Duke flipped on the switch there at the end, it was over. Sarr still a little shakey with the shot. Blackwell is money and the guard play should be very strong this year. Excited to see big Drew.
