Not to worry. As a lifelong Eagle’s fan, we’re accustomed to a dry spell from time to time.
And with hockey season underway, we’ve got the Flyers to keep us glued to our TV screens.

Hurts done for the year. The playoffs seem to be out of reach so there's no reason to waste draft capital at this point. Play out the season the best you can and develop/evaluate what you have.

Maybe I'm being too pessimistic about the playoffs but it seems like it's a longshot to get there.
imo playoffs in easy reach, all you have to do is win the East. The Eagles are in as good of shape of anybody to do that. NYG? Dallas?Washington? all have major flaws , get the offense to do a little and let the D carry them.

Assuming his is true...how does anyone involved still have a job?
Truly hard to believe. I read that they were more about the flight than the game. I know I'm in the minority, but does something awful have to happen for this international series to stop. How about taking care of the fans that have built the wealth of the league? Sorry, did not intend to hijack your post. I do agree that mass firings are called for.

No apology needed. I completely agree with your take on the international games.

The news that Hurts was prevented from sleeping before the London game are apparently false. A lot to be uncovered here but the specifics of his care seem to be much more appropriate than it did earlier.

You guys are crazy. Neither Shadeur nor Herbert are making any significant difference behind a patchwork OL this year. I'd much rather tank, take a QB in the draft and rebuild the OL in the next 2 drafts. I love Barkley, but I would consider trading him. RBs tend to drop off a cliff and he has some miles on the odometer.

Sean Mannion on the offense: "You look at a lot of things that we need to improve, and I think they're totally fixable. It's a double-edged sword, right? You look at that, and you can get frustrated by it. You can also look at that and put a silver lining on and say, 'Man, if we just handled our simple stuff, we're going to yield a better result.'"

If something is fixable then fix it. WTF does he mean by double-edged sword?? Fix one thing then something else gets worse?? It's not a zero-sum situation.
