I chalk it up to being the best in the world is HARD (or the adidas shoes). The Kazakhstan guy mauled everyone.

This is about an hour after his medal match. I’m sure he isn’t satisfied with the result, but I speculate everything between now and August ‘28 is moving toward winning an Olympic gold.IMG_3206.jpeg

Not sure, but I have been told by other than my main connection that if ‘27 world medalists at non-Olympic weights don’t get any advantage at ‘28 trials, he was a loud voice complaining. Specifically that it wasn’t fair Zain sat in semis and Jesse had to wrestle three matches before their tilt.

Love to see this stuff. He knows his best performances are ahead of him. For the " PSU needs to wrestle Okay State to grow the sport" crowd, this is an actual thing that grows the sport. Having stars who are willing to speak to, give autographs to, and otherwise interact with young wrestlers even after a setback is what grows the sport in earnest.

Interjecting for a moment, sorry.

My take on the subject has nothing to do with growing the sport. It simply has to do a. I want to see the match and b. I think they should wrestle every year, histories and all.

My son met Morgan at the Open this year and she immediately became a favorite. Followed her through the summer. She made his day tonight.

Crap! I wish I had known who to look for because I was there too. What were you guys wearing? I was wearing a blue Penn State wrestling T shirt. You guys would have recognized me easily by just looking for the best looking guy in the arena. 😁
