Small School Classes

They had some dudes on the o line and d line during my time at A&M. They had a QB around 2012/2013 we played against who might as well have been a full back, dude was a truck. We enjoyed the rivalry with them because it was always a game
Hillsboro was a surprise to a lot of people this year, I could see them going deep in 3A. Would love to see the Texas Slot-T offense Pana runs, take off in the post season. It's beautiful when it works.
More likely than not they wouldn't go far in this bracket.

Ya know... I love it when someone from a small school makes it to the big time... even if its the nfl... Dunker was a stud at Lena, enjoyed watching him. Got to see some of his games for Iowa... Ya just gotta love stories like this!~~~

BC 32-31 Final/OT
Calhoun ripped off 17 unanswered to comeback from 24-7 at half. Say what you want, Calhoun was very good. BC knows how to win big games.

Epic game. Don’t think anytime has anything to hang their head on. Other than neither played a full game. Got a feeling this will be seen again.
BC came out ready to play. Calhoun did not. Calhoun had 70 yards of offense the first half BC had 213. To the end the game BC Had 249 Calhoun 256. Was a tale of 2 halves for both teams
Is it crazy to say given the draw Calhoun may of lucked out with a loss against BC brutal Draw for a 1 Seed
Another year, another ALAH team that can't hang... Calhoun definitely got the easier path. CPC going as a 5 seed at 8-1 is wild to begin with! I understand all the travel issues, but it's the playoffs. 1-32 1A thru 8A... would have avoided this right?
2A south is going to be interesting only because it's full of average teams. Nash, Pana, JC have to be the only real favs and Pana is likely a stretch in that convo. This is JC's chance! lol But of course they have to get thru Nashville first...
GNW BC R2 Intrigues me. It really does. CPC BC R2 BRINGS INTRIGUE AS WELL

Calhoun in the south - Avoid all their buddies from the WIVC and on paper almost a cake walk to the Semi Finals
1A Bracket Losers
The NUIC - Their big 3 Stockton, Forreston and Lena will see 2 of the 3 bounced before the Quarterfinals. Fulton has a great shot to join the winner of those 3 in the Quarterfinals though and Galena could be a very tough out for Heyworth in the 1st Round.
2A South - Everyone is a winner with Maroa going North. Could be any number of teams making in to state. I still like West Frankfort to get there but Johnston City, Nashville will have a say and keep an eye on Pana they are playing really well.
3A Winners - Pontiac in the north with a chance to win a couple games vs CPL schools. Also like Monticello chances to get to the State Semi final avoiding conference rivals Unity, SJO and BCC who are on the other half of south bracket.

1A Loser in South has to be BC getting thrown into the WIVC Invitational
Well, only if your name isn't SJO.
I'm probably wrong but I don't see anyone giving SJO a game outside of the potential rematches with their conference foes BCC, Monticello, and potentially Unity if they play extremely well. If there is a sleeper I would say it's probably Olympia, partially because of their scheme.
It would be great if the smaller school south teams wouldn't be scared to vote for a 1-32 (or 48) seeding. But they know the north teams would eliminate them every year and refuse to vote for it.
