I still think we deserve higher, blue shades and all. I'm able to entertain an argument for most of those teams ahead of us, but for UCLA, Utah, and even Notre Dame, that's just not the case. Our SOS alone should catapult us ahead. Over halfway through the year, we sit atop the SEC standings, and we are as dicsciplined and well coached as any team in the country. Player & clock management, strategy, game adjustments, all the things I worried about with Stoops, are simply a thing of the past.

Just unreal the difference a coach and the NIL can make in less than year. Stein IMO is the type of coach who the likes of The Ohio State's of the world normally attract or outright buy.

We are on a rocket ship trajectory and I can't believe it's happening so fast.

This is fun 😁

With all the upsets yesterday they don't know who's who anyways. We pass the eye test and the win on the road test. We come home next weekend for a Saturday night game with a lit stadium and with a nice ranking to hold onto for atleast 2weeks. Luv were we are at for the moment and rankings by idiots dont really do much for us right now. Just win baby!!

I think the hardest part of our schedule is still to come. Amazing start and I think anyone with any common sense would agree. Now this 55 year old cat fan puts on his reality hat. Tennessee, Florida, Missouri and UL will all be tough games. If we go 2 -2 it was a hugely successful season. Probably not playoff worthy but for a team that was projected to win 3 to 4 games max that record would be huge for Stein and recruiting. Go Cats. Prove me wrong and shock the world.

I shouldn't have mentioned UCLA. Them being undefeated and B10, I see how they are ranked ahead of us. But it's comical we aren't already top 10. This team seems to feed off the haters, so I'm cool with it. I'll just be along for the ride wherever this team takes me bc it's house money from here on out 💰 To me, we're just a year or two ahead of schedule.

Yeah, but who has UCLA played? I didn't even know they existed, nobody has said a word about them all season.
The BIG10 is a very top heavy league, but once you get past those top 2 or 3 teams, it's very average, so if you haven't played Ohio State, or Indiana yet, you can hide for a long time, that's what UCLA is doing.
You can't hide in the SEC.

I totally see this side of the argument too. I think we're better than UCLA, we're battle tested and proven in the SEC. I just realize voters almost always place an undefeated team from the P4, especially the B10, higher in the polls than a one-loss competitor. It just is what it is.

I do think we roll UCLA if we play them.

This is reasonable.

I also see this team just having that IT factor. Some winning teams just develop that way. Let's handle Vandy now, but with two weeks prep I bet Stein has a masterful gameplan heading to Neyland. We may have multiple scripted possessions similar to the first drive at OU. I just don't think we've played our best ball yet.

Very few games in those percentages, especially football
