Energy?

When the state subsidizes demand without freeing supply, prices rise. Every time. Guaranteed student loans, and universities raise tuition. Housing aid plus blocked building permits, and rents skyrocket. Administered healthcare, and bureaucracy eats the budget before it ever reaches the patient.

This is the result of state run programs. 61% of their tax revenue is going to entitlements. Schools are public. Universities are public. Culture runs on grants. Film goes through funding committees. Public broadcasting shapes the narratives. The people handing down the interpretive framework are, overwhelmingly, paid by the very system that creates the problem.

Do you really think that system is going to name itself as the culprit?
And here we go! I'm talking specifically about energy prices and how they have contributed to the unrest. One person is directly responsible for the majority of the increase in those prices.

F’ck you idiot. They’ve allowed 3rd worlders to invade their countries, given them millions on handouts….& now these thugs pay them back by using ANY excuse(high costs, school funding, etc) to destroy these countries & take power.

Anyone with a brain can see the destruction being done in these countries by liberal immigration policies….but unfortunately that doesn’t include you & most other brainwashed libtards.

France is arguably the most leftist country on earth & it's still not sufficiently left enough for the protestors

there is free healtcare, free education, they work 35-hours a week, 6 week vacation, there is retirement accounts, free immigration, etc

the goal is a total destruction of a functioning country, no military, no police, no laws, whatever goes

you can not capitulate to the mob, they are finding out & hopefully others wake up

I've found that the best way to determine reasoning is to look at the outcome....There can be no really sound basis - be in school problems or cost of fuel that can justify stealing high end, or any end, good from stores or burning cars or buildings unless that was the intent at the start of the protests.

I know this might not be liked by some, but they need to bring their armed forces - armed - to get control....notify the protesters that the military has been told to use force if necessary, and if protesters continue, then use force.

This is from high gas prices…

Yes absolutely! The high cost of living driven by skyrocketing energy prices has contributed to widespread discontent across the continent. The facts are there if you want to do your own research outside of your dipshit algorithm. I'm not saying this was the initial cause of the French riots but it's one reason and a major contributor in other European countries.

So you agree that liberal immigration policies worldwide are completely asinine & are primarily responsible for the violent, destructive riots occurring across Europe??

I hope all you f’en libtards get off your filtered media & see these are far more than “minor student protests”. Thank god Trump has closed Sleepy Joe’s open borders & has deployed ICE to root out invaders & criminals that have no legal right to be here.

Even you virtue signaling dipsh!ts have to see what’s happening in Europe can’t be our future.

I'm at the gym right now and CNN is showing the France riots on the overhead TV and I've read plenty about them in other places, so I completely understand whats happening there. I've even said on this board multiple times that I heard these complaints in person from Europeans in my last couple of visit there, many left-leaning, so my news is nowhere as filtered as the only news you get from your slop algorithm.

So let me spell it out again, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING THERE. I dont need an avalanche of maga twa.ts to get it. Got it?

There's only one dipshit in this conversation and it's the bozo who gets all his news from Catturd.

So you agree that libtard immigration policies have caused this disaster in Europe…..but you have an issue with real/non-AI videos from X that actually show what is happening there (unlike libtard media)?! If so, you’re a f’en idiot.

Or are you really pushing the idiotic narrative that either higher oil prices or school issues are what’s causing widespread looting & violence? If that’s the case, you’re an even bigger idiot.

Everything is so simple and black and white with you that there's no way to have a nuanced conversation when:

Anything bad = lIbTaRd!
Anything good = nOt lIbTaRd!

It's unbelievable to me that you've had six years of college, which means you would have had to do research for papers. How do you get a passing grade if all your footnotes credit Insurrection Barbie and D.C. Draino? I don't get it.

And just because they are non-AI videos from X means nothing when I routinely bust you for tweets with misinformation, like I just did yesterday with your tweet about Cueta migrants. Knowing that you'll post anything without vetting makes all of your clips suspect, sorry.

Anyway, last night Growls posted a tweet about rioting in Milan Italy, which I thought was really weird, so I went to the tweet on X and asked grok about it and got this response:
  • The protests, organized under "Italia in Piazza," drew over 5,000 mostly young participants including minors against high living costs, fuel prices, low wages, and public service cuts, with primarily Italian flags though some Palestinian symbols appeared.
And that's what sent me down the rabbit hole that led me to multiple articles that explained that high gas prices, which contribute in multiple ways to a higher cost of living, were a major source of the discontent spreading across the continent. And you can lie to yourself all you want, but you know exactly who's responsible for that.

Having said that, the immigration problem is a multi-faceted issue spanning decades that conservative politicians also contributed to due to severe labor shortages in the same industries we use immigrant labor for here - agriculture, construction, caregiving, etc...but there's no denying that the humanitarian policies of liberal governments played a huge role, no doubt, and it's coming home to roost unfortunately.

I don't know what they'll do about it since a majority of them can't be deported but we'll see. So for understandable reasons the electorate is leaning more conservative in hopes they can do something about it, but not sure how that will work in France in particular because their conservatives want to cut even more from the budget, including education funds. It's gonna be an extremely tough issue to tackle, that's for sure.

But there are many reasons you can't compare what's happening there to here because unlike Europe, our country is young and began with a mixing and welcoming of all cultures and many of the people you see as "others" have been here as long as or longer than the white population, so we have no choice but to make it work. For instance, Hispanics make up 20% of the population and the vast majority of those are legal so even if you deport all the illegal ones, it won't change the culture even a little bit. We are a melting pot and we will always be, so it would be better to focus more on assimilation than deportation.

Have you read any articles from reputable French media about the riots? Have you done a deep dive on articles from ACTUAL and VETTED European journalists who know the context of what's actually happening in France, and why? Have you spent any time actually researching the nature and reason for these protests, and have you read, listened, and tried to understand the root of the issue? Have you talked to anyone that is a native of France about the riots and protests? Do you know anyone that's is French and lives in France?

You literally have no idea what's going on. You have no context, you have no sources, and you're just repeating what you've been told. You're an idiot.

According to libtard media, it’s “mostly peaceful protests”. If you’ve seen even a few of the hundreds of videos posted in the last few days…..even a dumba$$ like you should know they’re completely full of sh!te.

Strong language for such a peaceful protest.

“President Macron addressed the nation Sunday evening, condemning the violence and saying those who destroyed/looted or sought to “bring down the Republic” would be held accountable. The government (Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez) has blamed ultra-left elements and criminals while noting the peaceful majority’s grievances. This is happening against a backdrop of budget pressures, high public debt/deficit concerns, and the run-up to the 2027 presidential election.”

“Saturday events mixed that with deeper cost-of-living anger and opportunistic violence by more radical or criminal elements. It’s being described as some of the worst unrest in years and is putting real political pressure on Macron’s government.”

• In Paris: “It’s like we had a war.” People described groups of young people looting “with total impunity,” smashed luxury and ordinary shops, burned debris. Residents expressed disgust and fear.

• In Limoges (where the 19th-century town hall was largely destroyed by arson): Deep emotional pain. Locals said things like “I cried as if it was my own house burning,” “I feel like something was ripped from me,” and gathered in large numbers (thousands for a solidarity march) to mourn the symbolic loss of their “common house.” The mayor called it hatred of institutions, the flag, and authority — not mere stupidity.

Sound familiar to anyone??

Response from their government.
Left (LFI/Mélenchon and allies): Accused the government of incompetence, poor policing strategy, or letting things rot. Some refused to fully condemn the violence early on or focused more on social demands and police methods.

These aren’t minors bitching about high prices….in ALL of these cities it’s mostly 3rd world immigrants showing up to loot & destroy property. That’s obvious in every video out there, including many posted by French citizens who confirm this themselves.

I’m truly shocked how you leftist sheep have allowed libtard media to convince you what you can clearly see in MANY videos isn’t actually happening. Severe TDS is way more debilitating than I thought & it’s sad knowing how many of you retards exist.
