We're 3-4 but we could be favored in all of our remaining games. What do you say? If you see future losses, who will we lose to?

I think we lose only to Minnesota the rest of the way.

You're such a moron it's beyond belief. This is professional football now dipstick - do tell me why Howard would want to come back and play for this putrid team risking injury prior to making himself available in the FA Market for top-$$$????
LOL--Howard has very limited film. None of which against quality teams. You put him on the field opposite Sowell then you're going to see good things. If he doesn't want to play then you should want him to leave.
Honestly, I know you're a JoeBot but you take stupidity to a whole new level. You're the person O'Brien rightfully hated.

5 game season is now on the table.

I think CMC will have them ready, but that doesn't mean "unlucky" Becht won't turn it over 3X like yesterday.

One game at a time.

Who cares that it's almost wrestling season. Literally the least competitive sport in all of the NCAA
But it's nice to win even when there isn't competition I suppose
There's no chance you are a fan of Penn State:; Wrestling has been a major sport at the University since it's inception. Literally nobody other than you minimizes that

You really are a dip$*** - Cael & Co. have consistently produced some of the most dominating wrestlers in the world, but it's easy to do that???? You are such a know-nothing PSU-troll @$$hat, it's off the charts ridiculous.

Imagine a life long Oklahoma State or Iowa fan, saying this about the sport of wrestling. He's an obvious troll.

Since 1928--5 teams have won all but 9 titles and Minnesota has won a third of those
Wrestling is always dominated by 1 or 2 teams--it's literally always been that way. Oklahoma State, Iowa, Penn State, Iowa State and Oklahoma.
It's not competitive--never has been--that's not even remotely debatable.
We've won 13 of 15 titles--which is great--but wherever Cael was coaching would do that. Doesn't matter where.

Huh? I think Iowa and OK State fans fully comprehend it's been non-competitive. Their 34 & 24 titles respectively are evidence of that
Are you disputing the fact?

Really??? He coached at Iowa State, his Alma Mater, from 2006-2009 (which was a top 5 program at the time) and didn't win any National Titles dip$***.

Had he stayed that changes--it's adorable you don't think kids would have wanted to wrestle for Cael at Iowa State but do at Penn State given both schools history---yupp

So let me get this straight, when John Wooden won 10 of 12 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championships from 1964 to 1975 all it really told us was that the sport was uncompetitive???? You really are a mental midget trollboy.

If 5 teams would have repeated that for a century then yes
How many national champions have there been since 1928? How many are owned by Penn State, Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State?
How many P4 teams don't even have wrestling?
How may are their total? Less than 80? And dropping?
It's okay to love wrestling and comprehend it's always been 1-3 teams that were capable to contending.

3-9 and eventually bigger margins of loss. Some of these games have felt like they lost by 20 even though somehow the other team tried to show some pity.

I don’t think the final record will change the overwhelming sense of failure this season has become. The remaining opponents are mostly 2nd tier and bottom dweller teams in 2026. Washington is a top tier program going through similar transition pains. Beating up the mediocre and weak teams and losing to the strong teams leaves Penn State in the same position it has been in since 2016. Not good enough.

On a more positive note, I do think Campbell deserves at least 2 more years to clean up a mess he inherited. I am hoping he has learned the hard way that 2nd tier players will not cut it in the B1G.

You are spot on. It doesn't really matter at this point. Who cares if we win 4 of our next 5? It does not change the trajectory of the program. We are playing bottom feeders and we are one of them.

Rebuilding from this mess will take money that we currently don't have. Give Campbell time but beating Rutgers, Maryland and Purdue is not an impressive coaching performance.

I think we can win out. I don't see anyone else on our schedule that scares me except and I can't believe I"m sayin this but Rutgers could be an issue.
I would like to see our identity become a passing team. Bombs away in old Bombay.
