I can go to Bourbon Barrel Beef and buy a cut of locally produced steak and make something they’d charge $150 for.

Heck ya buddy, why just the other day I was charged 15bucks for an old fashioned. 15 bucks?! Why I coulda driven to the liquor store and got myself a bottle of good bourbon for 60 dollars. After spending about 20 minutes doing that I coulda driven about 15 minutes to Kroger and got me a nice bottle of simple syrup or Demerara sugar cubes if they had them for 10 bucks. Then I could’ve gotten some orange bitters for 10 bucks if they had them or go back to the liquor store. Then I could’ve gone to crate and barrel and bought some rocks glasses for 40 bucks and a metal mixer and mixing spoon and the mould for the big ice cubes. Then I could’ve gone home and poured some water in the big moulds and waited for it to freeze. After about 3 hours I was ready to pour my old fashioned. I’d say I could probably make myself a good 10 old fashioneds outta that bottle for only 100 bucks and about 6 hours of labor. Jokes on them those idiots! Charging 15 for an old fashioned the nerve.

That's the kind of thing one of the poors would say.

I bet you put ketchup on your steak.
So if you don’t want to pay $150 for one steak you are poor now? Crazy times. Sorry, but I don’t have the kinda cash to spend $3-400 eating out for one night when I decide to eat out.

Nobody is charging 150 for a steak outside of like an A5 12oz wagyu filet good lord guys get your **** together, a good steak at a good steakhouse is anywhere from 60-80. Not cheap but not 150.

I joke. And putting on airs and pretending to be highfaloutin is a long-standing tradition going back to the Rivals board days, especially on the old Paddock (general topics) forum.

That steak is huge and would easily feed two people. Even the poors could afford it if they save up for a few months. No dessert or drinks, though, obviously.

Those ice ball molds are a damn nice touch. Kind of a pain in the *** but worth it.

It’s not worth it. Ever. It’s crazy how the prices keep going up and the quality keeps going down.
