How many times can a team lose in the closing minutes of a football game!
I guess the answer is A LOT and that happens when you are not good enough. I watched some of the first half and it was just brutal. Nebby just doesnt have the culture etc that will gut out tought wins.

And it was the former Nebby QB Raiola who put the fork in them. The more Nebby loses the more pressure they feel ahead of their game with the hawks

Zero offense in that game and their ex-QB puts them down. It will be interesting to see where they go from here between now and the Iowa game. They either nut up and become a better team or they fold. With their coach I would lean towards fold although their schedule favors them. Toughest game before us is at home against OSU which may be without Sayin.

Sayins injury opens the window for NW and Nebraska to leap up and land a whale.
I am stunned that osu's backup qb is a true frosh who looks worse that our walk on Stratton from 2024. That is portal damage to bluebloods.

Stratton was pretty damn good. He nearly pulled that UCLA game out at the end. Given the situation, Stratton did a lot more for Iowa than Iowa did for him.

It's comical how Nebraska finds new ways to lose.

The punter dropping his knee to field the center snap was classic Husker football.

And Ole Matty with his dazed and confused facial expressions is just frosting on the cake. 🤣

Nebraska was not content to just lose another close game - that has become somewhat passé. Need something new and creative.

Hey, let’s watch our own former golden boy come off the bench late in the game and lead two long 4thQ scoring drives to nut crunch us with a few seconds to play!

Some may chuckle at what I'm about to say, but I really think the reason husker fans suffer so much is divine punishment, or karma if you prefer. You'll never find more ignorant, toxic, mean spirited, jackasses in college athletics. Consistently, no matter the season or the situation, they believe they are among the best of the best and deserve to be treated as such. They won a few times in a short period last century, sure, but that means nothing when so many years have passed and the game has completely changed.

They have respect for no one and zero common decency. Even in defeat they believe they are unbeatable. Pride is a deadly sin for a reason, and they embody it whole heartedly. Remember, God punishes the wicked.

I saw an obvious troll saying they are now bottom feeders like Rutgers and, like clockwork, Iowa.

We have never won anything so we don't matter. 😵‍💫
