I'm watching Notre Dame/BYU this morning

I don't know how the game turned out but ND is well behind in the 3rd quarter.

Given that they're playing BYU, I'm a Notre Dame fan today simply because of the game in Starkville. Otherwise, I'd never pull for ND.

One thing about BYU however - the view from the stands of the mountains is spectacular. It's got to be one of the best around.

I went out there to watch JJ Johnson run all over them back in 98 or whenever it was. And yes, it is real and a spectacular setting

Well, that was one of the best games you'll ever see. Notre Dame had a chance with the last drive to win the game but couldn't quite pull it off. Both teams are very good. Quite a finish.

BYU fans rushed the field but I don't know what the Big 12 policy is - do they have fines? Can't really blame the fans for doing it.

Also the attempted spike at the end of the first half that was ruled a fumble (looked like a fumble to me, but apparently not everybody). Not sure I've ever seen a clocked attempt be screwed up.

Yup. ND can be mad at the refs, but the botched spike attempt cost them the game
