You know who else isn’t good? Bye bye uk basketball only fans. We are a football school now
After the turmoil the basketball team has been in, we needed this. It’s been such a great feeling not have to worry about basketball.

Of course, when I do think about basketball it ticks me off more now considering what Stein has been doing in his first season.

100%. It's sad that I haven't even thought about basketball yet. Just total apathy for this season.

Hey who cares about basketball, it’s a crap sport anyways. Being good in football is way better than.

I love UK football and UK basketball. I love college football more than basketball but when UK basketball is dominant, it’s hard to beat. I’d be torn if I had to pick only one.

Sooners have an elite defense. Their offense is doody but for the middle 2 quarters they looked like they were starting to figure something out even on offense. One deflection leading to an interception and it was off to the races for the Cats. The Sooner QB is not good. He missed a LOT of open dudes tonight thankfully.

After today, I’m not confident there are any really good teams in CFB.
I've been thinking the same thing lately. I don't know if NIL and portal have created so much parity that truly stellar and standout teams do not exist. With a "more level playing field" ... coaching and program management are more important than ever, it seems to me. How you evaluate talent and spend your money is truly paramount now. Nobody is stockpiling talent anymore.

The parity we see and complain about in basketball is what we see and are enjoying in football, both in the SEC and everywhere else. Coaches and fans are still adjusting to it. Some embrace and enjoy it, while others are really struggling with it. The future of major collegiate sports is foggy ... it seems to me.

Really nice D. Unfortunately for Venables that isn’t enough in today’s game.

Seems like a great dude and coach that players love but he’s got to find some points.

He’s old school though like a lot of coaches in his generation, especially the defensive guys. It’s hard for them.

More rigid unwilling, maybe unable to accept change than coaches are fans.

9-10 wins for OU is uncomfortable but a reality. The days of dominating are over. Kentucky and both Mississippis can beat ya.

It’s starting to hit UGA and Bama too.
