Had no chance of working and let's Fitz run out the clock like he loves to do for game winner.
We've had bad, but that was the worst.

Somehow, i wasn’t surprised even if I thought it was absolutely the wrong call. I was telling myself, it’s gonna be a fake. Somehow I just knew it.Seriously, that was one of the worst play calls I've ever seen out of a Northwestern squad.
And yet we still won. I'm in disbelief.
Chiles was an absolute stud today when we needed him to be.Can't disagree but all's well that ends well. And getting Chiles out of the portal was an absolute steal!
Michigan State had only run 1 good offensive play in the 2nd half until that point.Somehow, i wasn’t surprised even if I thought it was absolutely the wrong call. I was telling myself, it’s gonna be a fake. Somehow I just knew it.

Better lucky than good.I respect the balls to call it. They must have seen something. Didn’t work short-term, but at least special teams showed up to “fix it.”
Agreed; it didn't look like that even had a shot at working. It was not only a strange decision it was weird execution. All the gunners were running full speed downfield, no-one was looking back like they are looking to catch the pass. It hit our guy in the back of the helmet or something, right? Did some of the players not know it was a fake? It was really odd.
