no wonder the attendance isn't very good. all those people walking around LA asking where the wrestling is.Greg … article states the location is Los Angeles. Shouldn’t it be Las Vegas?

Certainly a lackluster performance79 kilogram qualification round match: Joe Sealey (USA) vs. Chandermohan (India)
First period
There is some kind of stoppage seven minutes into the match. There appears to be some kind of a tech issue, perhaps the scoreboard or something. Not sure. Thus is a lengthy delay now, though. Alright, now we're getting back to action.
Both wrestlers are very active with their hands early in this one. Sealey tries to trip, can't, tries a low single, can't get there, and then Sealey is warned for passivity. Next one will put him on the clock. On the restart he again shoots but can't get there. Sealey si now put on the clock at the 4:37 mark of the first. Chandermohan shoots on a single that Sealey is desperately trying to fight off, and he does, only giving up a stepout in the process. The clock expires shortly after and it is 2-0 Chandermohan at the 4:00 mark. Chandermohan quickly shoots and drives Sealey of the edge for a 3-0 lead at 3:57. Sealey shoots on a low single that Chandermohan counters on and scores a takedown for a 5-0 lead and is trying to get the leg laces going. As he does, though, the referee stops the action. Not sure why, but it's good for Sealey.
Chandermohan leads 5-0 at the break.
Second period
Sealey tries to throw Chandermohan by early in the second and a scramble ensues but neither wrestler gets control. It's still 5-0. Now Sealey is in on a low single but Chandermohan fends it off pretty easily with two minutes to go. Sealey shoots again but can't get to Chandermohan, who is doing a great job holding center and now races behind Sealey for a takedown and rolls him for four, and that's that.
Chandermohan beats Sealey 11-0.
He’s wrestling up one weight class against a good wrestler. May still get pulled into repechageCertainly a lackluster performance
If he can make the semis he will have Mahdi Yousefi IRI who has been 2025 U23 World Bronze, 2025 U20 World Gold, 2024 U23 World Gold, 2024 U20 World Bronze. I hope we get a Minto vs Yousefi in the finals it's one of the matches I wanted to see when I saw they both registeredHe’s wrestling up one weight class against a good wrestler. I don't like it either. Here it is fyi: https://www.flowrestling.org/video/...-coby-lazo-merrill-united-states?classic=trueso Merril warned for head butt then does it again as soon as he starts don't like that!
We don't know how many other wrestlers turned down the opportunity before inviting Sealey.Which is why his selection at 79Kg by USAW is a bit puzzling. Joe is good, but not strong enough at this level and weight class.

Agree Mitchell will live on his legsMinto just got teched by Saidulov!! 13-3. That makes me think MM will not have a ton of trouble. Saidulov got in over and over and finished pretty much every time
Sealey just look to small79 kilogram qualification round match: Joe Sealey (USA) vs. Chandermohan (India)
