I did not expect SP to beat KM like that, especially holding them to two scores.
I agree with the above statements on all comments. I noticed the same things about the teams
I went to SP so I know never to count them out. This years team is not as talented overall as last years team, but they are really playing well and as always will be tough out in November.

West Stokes defeating East Surry 67- 7 (margin)
East Lincoln defeating Hickory 42-39
Starmount coming from behind and defeating North Wilkes 38 to 31 with 4 seconds left in game
Watauga defeating Alexander Central 35-26
Starmount was getting butt kicked all game until late in game.
Thought Hickory would stand up and be Hickory by a fair margin. Hat off to East Lincoln.
Thought Alexander Central had developed enough that this would be their year in the conference.

Salisbury beating South Rowan 34-33 may be little surprise. Especially the way Salisbury has been playing this year
West Stokes seems to be rolling right now. The fact that they scored as many as they could on East Surry was very surprising. I guess that place wasn’t as special to Lowman as he made it out to be?! Or his ego just won’t allow him to take his foot off the gas for any reason.
Heard there was some very questionable play calling from the SR coaches. Especially in OT.
This is big rivalry plus West just got their QB back from injury. They were most likely getting him back comfortable with offense. I'm sure social media comments during the week didn't help ES. Lowman and his assistant coaches are doing great job and it seemed like every play call worked. ES had no answer for #6 and #0. Jay Wright #0 is a very tough matchup with his speed and quickness
