Little Rock positives and negatives

Positives:
Defense-I think this team's length gives them potential to be a decent defensive team and tonight's effort wasn't bad for one week's practice.
3 point shooting-Even with a poor start and the guy who took the most making only 2/8 the team wound up well over 40%; this team can shoot and I think they will shoot 40% on threes this year.
Mason Williams

Negatives:
Turnovers
Lack of offensive execution. It looks like Pope did a Pope thing and recruited a dribble heavy point guard. I like Williams and Wilkins better at point. Wilkins needs to tone things down but has a lot of talent. Diallo looks like a defensive oriented 2/3.
Hawthorne might be able to give us some minutes at the two later in the year but right now he's very raw, but with obvious upside.

Depending on your objectives, the season was over before it began. I love the Cats, so I’ll still watch and root them on. Hell, I watched tape delayed routes during probation. I’ll watch these stiffs too.

Man, sometimes I forget the mystique Mugsy has around the basketball world. I've been seeing him around Charlotte for more than 2 decades. He's just a really nice, normal dude. We used to deliver pizzas to his house in Providence Plantation back in my teenage years. He's so tiny. It's crazy what he accomplished at his height.

Positives:
- Milan is so fun to watch and is very skilled. I'll be on the edge of my seat every time he shoots a 3.
- Mason Williams is way better than a top 150 recruit.
- Only about ~35 more games until we get a real coach in here.

Negatives:
- Everything else.

Mom is very efficient, doesn't jack up bad shots, rebounds, looks like he can defend.

Offense looked dribble heavy and unfocused. Ndye hit some outside shots but needs to be more of inside presence at 7 feet.

Our starting guards get a B minus. zoom seemed big but slow. Wilkins a little too much jasper Johnson.

Moreno would see like he improved and then dribble the ball off his foot.

If we can't get the offense to run crisper, 14 loss season.

It's like they wanted to shoot 3s and Little Rock knew it, you have to go to the rim when that happens. If they can't do that and finish at the rim it will be a long season.

Still shooting 40% as a team with the other team keyed on it is obviously good.

Dude im not setting here saying nobody could score on him inside but if you want me to I can bring up quotes from former nba guys who talked about how good he was at post defense because the leverage he would get and how low to the ground he was. His quickness allowed him to constantly work around and slap balls away. This is universally known so what are you talking about?!

I have no problem hearing bad things said. I just don't want to ONLY hear bad things. This is one of 3-4 posters who never see anything but bad when it comes to UK basketball. But if I couldn't hear any contrary opinions I wouldn't be responding to you, Ash; I'd have you on ignore.
