Incredible job by Davino against a very good opponent. Mukaida was bronze at U23’s last year. I think the US has 4 young guys who can all make noise on the senior level at 61kg right now. Seidel won u20’s, I think Davino will win U23’s, Blaze is competing at seniors, and Jax might have highest upside out of all of them. There are going to be some super elite guys who are watching from the sidelines in the coming years

Jayden's instincts are off the charts. Everytime Marcu got in on a shot, I was worried since it looked like he should be able to just lift him and finish the takedown but Jayden was able to get in position to stop it or at least end up back on top to make it a 2-1 exchange instead.

Oregon States Gabe Whisenhunt who is representing Romania has had an incredible tournament. Made the semis where he faces Davino and will wrestle for a medal no matter what. Whisenhunt beat Ozbek last match who was bronze at U23’s last year. Pretty cool seeing these US guys representing other countries do so well

Why wasn’t that a fall for James?

edit: I meant earlier when he stopped the gut and put his opponent flat on his back before a roll thru bridge.
