I can't even name one player on the men's BB team . . . how times have changed!

I can't imagine anyone would expect me to be able to name a player at the beginning of the season when entire rosters change year to year. Hopefully, they'll give us reason to know their names by the end of the season.

There were many in rock hill that didn’t even know about it; may have been by design.
I remember talk about it during the summer, but I forgot about it. I would have checked it out had I remembered. Well, at least they won. Wake Forest lost to Georgetown in an exhibition last week by 18 points. Would have been worried if we lost the game.

So do we know why there are no familiar names on the roster for the most part?
One reason is that there are only two players still on the roster that Paris has recruited since 2022. Neither one of them would you call a starting level SEC Player. We have recruited only 3 Top 40 recruits since 2022. GG Jackson and Collin Murray-Boyles have both moved on to the NBA. Cam Scott was a bust and has since transferred to Temple. I still don't understand what went wrong with Scott. How can a guy that was supposed to be a Top 40 Recruit be so bad that he has to "Redshirt" as a Sophomore on one of our worst teams in years. Some poor talent evaluation occurred somewhere along the line. Also, was unable to retain some less heralded recruits that were still useful players. Zachary Davis, Morris Ugusuk, Eli Ellis to name a few.
