Check your email. 2026/2027 season ticket invoices have been sent. As expected, a slight increase from last year. I’m assuming we have two BCJ matches and five Rec Hall matches?

Same thing for me! Two different Credit cards! “Please use a different card.” Guess I will try tomorrow!Every freaking year, there is some problem with the process. Not a PSU thing I guess but my credit card, for whatever reason, has to verify my identity??? WTF. The only option is for someone to call me. Bizarre. They can text my wife........who happens to be on the other side of the planet. I guess I will have to do this later...........![]()
Had that issue with B10 tickets this year. Tried credit card then debit card. Both cards asked for verification. By the time I saw what was going on i ran out of time to purchase tickets.Same thing for me! Two different Credit cards! “Please use a different card.” Guess I will try tomorrow!

You guys need a PSUPaul in your life. He is a logistics and ticket genius.

Um, excuse me but you left out Best Big10 Co-Tailgate Connesouier. He and that other guy, the other guy's name slips my memory, but the other guy can cook!
The Wrestling experience in Rec Hall is just about as good as it gets in sports. They could definitely charge a lot more … and I’m glad they don’t. Over the next 5 years or so, I’m sure we can expect a steady drumbeat of increases. When you look at the BJC prices it becomes obvious that they expect most of the revenue increases to come from that venue. In comparison, the Rec Hall seat pricing is much lower …. perhaps a “nod” to the many coaches, wrestlers, and old timers who hold those tickets.qPlus the opportunity to change seats and add more season tickets onto your account in the near future. For two tickets, $200 for BJC matches and $316 for the Rec Hall matches. So two BJC matches makes sense. $316 for 5 Rec Hall matches would be about $30 per ticket, which would be a pretty big jump from $19 or $20 a ticket last season. Maybe 6 Rec Hall matches, which would be about $25 per ticket?
I respectfully disagree. I think the season ticket increases is responsible for the availability of seats in Rec Hall. There has been a years long waiting list for season tickets ever since Cael’s first National Championship. Upgrading seats and the ability to purchase additional season tickets has never been an option. Look at what happened last year when they tried to charge $113 for Oklahoma tickets at the BJC. The entire upper mezzanine was closed and the black curtains were dropped. Nebby and tOSU ticket prices were reduced to $60-$65 and the BJC set new attendance records. I think the fans will tolerate small yearly increases. Large increases will result in many new faces in the arena. The Wrestling experience in Rec Hall is just about as good as it gets in sports. How idiotic My great seats for the Iowa match are cheaper than my average seats for Bloomsburg. Who is the genius who came up with that idea? The ticket office is sticking to its guns on the Rec Hall/BJC drastic price inversion. Here's the email I got from them:
"The price you are seeing for 2026-27 for both Rec Hall matches and BJC Duals on your invoice are correct for this year.
Thanks!"
With this stacked team, no dual is going to have any buzz to it. Rec Hall will always be sold out. On the other hand, high ticket prices could leave empty seats at the BJC regardless of the opponent and it has more lesser quality seats to try to sell. They want it full for TV. That is the logic that I can see anyway. How idiotic My great seats for the Iowa match are cheaper than my average seats for Bloomsburg. Who is the genius who came up with that idea?
So I guess you think they cut the prices in half for BJC duals so they can get 30,000 people in BJC?I respectfully disagree. It is Penn State, where one goes to learn how to reinvent the wheel, every week of every month of every year. Somebody in house came up with an idea of how to do something better than the way they have been efficiently doing it for decades. How idiotic My great seats for the Iowa match are cheaper than my average seats for Bloomsburg. I’m guessing someone asked Claude or ChatGPT to calculate the maximum revenue stream from the available seating in BJC and it came up with a number. It is Penn State, where one goes to learn how to reinvent the wheel, every week of every month of every year. If you choose to change the Rec Hall tickets, can the BJC tickets remain the same?
Thanks for repying.....My time is Wednesday to change seats....If you lose the BJC seats...Please let me know...Like you....I don't want to lose them well. From the language contained in my email, ONLY the Rec Hall seats are able to be relocated. Below is an excerpt from the email itself:
Welcome back for another season of Penn State Wrestling!
You will soon be able to relocate your existing Rec Hall season tickets and/or purchase additional season tickets, subject to availability, for the upcoming 2026-27 season in Penn State Account Manager.
My seat selection date and time is tomorrow morning, so I hope that is the case. The BJC seats that I have are fantastic.
You guys crack me up.Thanks for repying.....My time is Wednesday to change seats....If you lose the BJC seats...Please let me know...Like you....I don't want to lose them well.
They allowed me to do that last year, but only after I called 1-800-NITTANY and asked. If you choose to change the Rec Hall tickets, can the BJC tickets remain the same?
Just finished seat selection. Was able to relocate to 203. Plenty of seats available, pairs, 3, 4 together. Mostly in the upper deck. They allowed me to do that last year, but only after I called 1-800-NITTANY and asked.

Where would someone go to get 8 tickets to the WVU dual at BJC?
Later. Ticket offer to season ticket holders, etc. hasn't happened yet.Just finished seat selection. Was able to relocate to 203. Plenty of seats available, pairs, 3, 4 together. Mostly in the upper deck.
34 and countingAs I type this, it looks like there are currently 34 seats left. As you'd expect, there are scattered singles with a few pairs and a couple trios in the corners. With interest being what it is, those 34 should be gone before long.
Kind of like sending Season ticket holders an email about a starting time to purchase B10 tickets and allowing people to sign in 2 hours early to get in line? PSU acted like they were worried about selling out BJC for B10's.Thinking about it in retrospect, they really f'd up this process. By allowing people to purchase more tickets before existing season ticketholders had a chance to improve their seats, the earlybirds got to double-dip.
They should have done the process in two parts. Day 1, existing holders get to improve. Day 2, existing holders get to buy more seats. I'm not yelling too much, because I'm generally happy with my seats, but they didn't do a very good job.
I’ve been on the season ticket waiting list for 11ish years. Seeing existing season-ticket holders get to purchase more seats before I get to purchase any is hard to understand.Thinking about it in retrospect, they really f'd up this process. Yeah, I didn't even address that strange choice. The best process would have been allowing existing holders to improve their seats, allow waitlisters the opportunity to get tickets and then offer existing holders the opportunity to buy more.I’ve been on the season ticket waiting list for 11ish years. I think, kind of obviously, it's entirely different. The first wave should have been allowing existing holders to improve their seats if they wanted and not having those arguably better seats snatched away by people in line to improve their seats earlier.Wouldn't this scenario have created exactly the same outcome just a day apart? I would have logged in on Day 1 to move seats and the same on Day 2 to buy more seats. You did not need to move your existing seats in order to buy more season tickets.
Stupid good counterpoints.Just a counterpoint to your very valid argument - I was on the waiting list about as long as you currently are and with the changes made this year, I was finally able to purchase 2 more season tickets so that my entire family of 4 could go to the matches and enjoy the day together.
For the last 10 years or so we have had to decide who got to go and who had to stay at home for each match - that was no fun.
It sounds like you had a chance to have wrestle offs in the family to see who would go. That way everyone got some wrestling in.Just a counterpoint to your very valid argument - I was on the waiting list about as long as you currently are and with the changes made this year, I was finally able to purchase 2 more season tickets so that my entire family of 4 could go to the matches and enjoy the day together.
