His play will determine that. At this point, I haven't seen him in a second round draft projection, let alone a first round projection. That may well be as they don't expect him to be available until 2028.

Is the 5 years rule still under appeal?

No, the NCAA installed this rule in spring.
The legal battle was over grandfathering guys like banks whose eligibility was exhausted after last season after 4 seasons seeking a 5th year.
Going forward 5 yrs to play is the rules.
Kael and Cam are on their 4th year this season.

2 years … I think we are safe he is not NBA bound … at least not yet … I think he’s in the right spot to get the best coaching
