Cramer and Linc both need a win to not go 0-3 against the top of the conference. Really hard game to pick. I went with SC.

Pretty quite this week.... Nobody excited about any games this week? Could it be a showdown in Cherryville? A last second win in Lincolnton? An upset win in Shelby? A win by an unwinless in Gaston County?
If East Gaston upsets Shelby I'll buy every single person on here a beer
Burns/Cherryville might be competitive for a bit but Burns will run away in the 2nd half
Lincolnton/Cramer is truly a toss up but I like Cramers size advantage, but it'll definitely be a 4th quarter game
And no, Highland has zero chance
I check here periodically. Most curious bunch to me is lincolnton. Seems to be decent support here and in stands….but it’s a quiet support. Weird deal.

As Cramer prepares to meet Lincolnton on the gridiron, I would like to extend my sincerest wishes for a fine evening of high school football. May both teams demonstrate sportsmanship, discipline, and the sort of execution that makes a Friday night memorable for all the right reasons.
Of course, we at Cramer remain cautiously optimistic. We have every confidence that our young men will be prepared to compete, and we look forward to seeing how Lincolnton responds to the occasion. Football, after all, is a wonderfully honest game. It has a way of settling discussions that sometimes grow considerably more ambitious during the week.
Regardless of the outcome, I trust we can all agree that confidence is a virtue best enjoyed in moderation, particularly before the opening kickoff.
Wishing Lincolnton the very best of health and good fortune.

I heard today some people in Cherryville have been saying they are going to beat Burns by 30 tonight
Maybe they meant beat Burns by 30 minutes to the Shake Shop tomorrow. Why would any real Cherryville person say such a thing. The boys from Lawndale might not be very kind to the upstart Ironmen tonight.

Same was said, here. At the start of the game they connected with a long pass then on second possession their fullback broke loose for a long TD. It was kind of worrisome for the first quarter.
Looked across the field at their sideline and there might have been a dozen players…Thought, they’re going to have to get tired, sooner or later, and they did, it’s their Achilles heel. NAF had predicted something like this in an earlier post this week.
With the Bulldogs, they might not even get started scoring, but if they do, I don’t know how they could maintain it. I like the Ironmen, and hope they do well in the 2A playoffs.
You have to love their bravado ! It may be less visible about 8:30pm.

This Burns / Cherryville game is about what I expected. Figured it'd be close for a quarter or so. Burns started pressuring the QB and really got the defense settled in.
