What are Talarico's views that you find so objectionable?
the opposite side of the question - which was a good one - is what are talarico's policies, and how do they differ from Paxton's.

Seems like from what I've read there aren't a lot of really significant differences other than the typical democrat/Republican platforms..I mean who isn't against corruption or for better healthcare, lower prescription prices, etc. But the question is or should be "what specific actions are you going to take as a single senator going to do to accomplish what you said you are supporting?"...and that goes for both candidates.

And I disregard all the transgender/God/Christianity statements from Tallarico..he's out there by himself on those.

Charlie Kirk agreed with Talarico on God being nonbinary so not completely by himself

Yes it was! And who appointed Justice Roberts?
Bush 2...but isn't the point more to the legality of the decision more than who appointed the justice?

there was just a post, maybe not this thread, where someone was talking about erosion of rights. This case, if I remember correctly (and I might not) was about freedom of speech. And the court decision was aimed at preserving that right. I'll assume you don't agree that corporations and labor unions have the right to organize or pool their money and give it to the candidates of their choosing. But outside of citizens united. we allow PACs to do the same thing, people from unions or companies pool their money and then use those resources in support of candidates...

Having said that, there's waaaaay too much money in politics. We should try to find a way to limit that. Don't know what that might be or how to do it, but we should try

Democrats way out spent republicans last election and still lost in a landslide. Maybe you should focus on the "why" because it wasn't money.
Sure, money isn't everything. But it's huge. And it needs to be reined in.

As for why more money didn't win for the Dems in 2024, it's hard to overcome years of smears and lies even with more money in a short period of time.

And that "more money" part assumes you don't think the Rs had more dark money.

“Science says some women have penises. Also the Covid shot prevents infection!”

lol keep telling me more about your “science”
The issue isn't whether someone, somewhere misspoke. The issue is that MAGA think those gaffes are more important than war, climate change, inflation or blatant corruption in the White House.

Climate change is artificial news. Inflation is almost a third of what it was under sleepy joe’s peak. The corruption is currently testifying before a grand jury. Wanna guess which president that person worked for??
