I luv the fact there are silly people posting as if, "it's close folks, we've made a lot of good points supporting our take"

KF has had a pair of true DT-QBs in Banks and Gronk that were given a shot at being starters. Both delivered. I hope Kirk understands that is a 100% hit rate.

??? No. They don't.

Especially when the clock stops with incompletions.

That's part of why a running game is the D's best friend

No, I didn't.

It's just that his "point" isn't applicable. And he and I have been over it before.

I happen to believe that more consecutive run attempts would have led to more successful drives this season. Not 3 and outs.

He can disagree with that all he wants. But he has no proof, as Iowa has barely attempted the consecutive runs vs ISU, Michigan, and OSU, to have failed and proven him right.

Then we saw the success that came with consecutive runs vs Washington.

Add in the fact that TL said in the presser today that he could have called more runs to help the running game vs Michigan and OSU, and Gray's contention looks incredibly weak

I do have half the board on ignore so for the troll I missed, here's some food ...

Iowa wide receiver Sam Phillips, who spent time in the Southeast at Chattanooga before transferring to Iowa, is familiar with Jeremy Hecklinski's skills and commented on his dual-threat abilities.

I know I know. There is no way Sam Phillips has more insight into Heck's skill-set than bots on this board.

Seriously bro, I saw the link the first time.

Both you and the journalist are mischaracterizing Sam's words.

Sam said Heck, "likes to extend the play. Can maneuver around, scramble around a bit."

None of that means Heck is a dual threat.

What we have here is wildly lazy journalism. And an inability by you to think for yourself and use your eyes
