Illinois is playing horrible football right now. They fired their DC and are stuck using the same bizarre defensive scheme that got the DC fired. Both the Illini and MSU are just a tad above Rutgers at this point, if that...Michigan State had a lot of injuries and still managed to take Illinois into OT after trailing. A little worried the way MSU turned the game around and they seem to have depth with athletic players. Don’t think it will be a rollover but believe we should still win.
Fitz was really fired up during the Illinois game. I think he will take that fire into this game. I would think it would be a revenge game for him. It could also be a meltdown game for him if the Illinois game is any indicator.Michigan State had a lot of injuries and still managed to take Illinois into OT after trailing. His team stinks and they’re banged up on top of it. He went for 2 in OT because his D was too banged up to play another possession (his words during post game presser). They’re going to have a million things go right to have a chance this weekend.Fitz was really fired up during the Illinois game. I think he will take that fire into this game. This.Brauny pointed out they have only won 1 away game from their last 6.
Another prove it moment for the Cats and hope the Kelly effect prevails.
Be wary of them injuring our qb - they injured former MSU qb houser. Also be wary of the Shrek Claps!![]()
Go 1-0 plsJust put the hammer down and get ready to rumble!!!!! After Rutgers, the real hard tests come. We need to get these two games to ensure bowl eligibility, although I think we will get at least a couple wins post Rutgers.

Not Oregon or Iowa?Other than OSU, this is the one remaining game that really gives me pause.
I'm just concerned about the X factor... the emotions involved in this game. Also worried about injuries, ie. Houser's broken hand against MSU. The other two. although challenging, especially Oregon on Pacific time, I don't fear as much as MSU. I could obviously be wrong. Not Oregon or Iowa?
Yeah, I would worry more about those two, especially Iowa at this point. Not Oregon or Iowa?
MSU's injuries are as bad - notably missing RB1, LBs 1-3 and CBs 1-5. I wonder if the gamblers are thinking that Braun won't want to humiliate his former boss.Spread down to NU minus 7.5 per Draft Kings. This must reflect our current injuries I would guess.
Braun might not want to but I don't think that Chip's DNA allows him to go into a shell. I wouldn't surprise me if in his mind not pushing all the time is a bad habit.MSU's injuries are as bad - notably missing RB1, LBs 1-3 and CBs 1-5. Just win. Idc if it's on a missed PAT.Braun might not want to but I don't think that Chip's DNA allows him to go into a shell. I wouldn't surprise me if in his mind not pushing all the time is a bad habit.
Agree with this.Just win. Idc if it's on a missed PAT.
Lose this, and the team loses all respect
