FB: FINAL DRIVE VS LSU

[TheResistance]

JUST MAGNIFICENT

[BlueBomb]

Damn. Minchey was a flat out STUD on the drive. So calm.

Just think how many times we've seen an opposing team do that to US over the years.

I'll tell you what other drive was magnificent. The one at the end of the 1st half. Definitely the anti-Stoops strategy and absolutely I loved it!!!

Watch the OL.

That's a top 5 OL in the country.
At around 40-43 seconds, Price makes a small hit, on the DL, and stops a sack.

I read an interesting tidbit about our O Line last night. IIRC, it said our starting o line would be the 6th biggest in the NFL!

Saw that too, pretty insane. ESPN said we're bigger than 25 NFL lines.

Maybe it was 7th. I just woke up and grabbed my phone for a few minutes, half asleep. Either way, it's impressive. I'm preaching to the choir here but if we stay healthy, that o line is gonna get LOTS better with every game. Hope we can keep most of it intact for a few years.

Gotta keep Cutter Leftwich here also.

He's doing great and it shows. We need to develop young linemen and I love how Stein has built this team from the inside out, even the coaching staff.

[Beatle Bum]

He missed a pass that would have led to a real decision on that last run but I understand his reasoning. He knew he could make it to the sideline.

For sure our OL is top 5. Great planning to make sure we are elite in the trenches.

Wow, I didn't know that. That is insane.

Very impressive but also have to be impressed with LSU’s defense in how they completely shut our run game down that 2nd half. We were really struggling to move the ball the majority of the half.

Both teams locked down the running games in the 2nd half of regulation. LSU rushed 12 times for 5 net yards and we rushed 14 times for 21 yards. But we took control in the 4th by most metrics. Time of possession was big in our favor. We kept the ball for 10:16 of the 4th and out gained them 144-82. That big blue wall paid dividends late in the game.

edit...It won't be easy, but we really need to run the ball against OU. Need at least 100 yards and hopefully more, on the ground. And gotta take care of the ball.

Is there a way to watch full games live in Skycast? This would probably help my blood pressure stay normal. I'm always yelling at QB's to throw the ball even if I can't see any receivers on the screen.

He has been clutch when it matters.

LSU defense has some flat out studs like usual and there DC is really good.
