AI generated briefs, with obvious errors, are not just happening with pro se defendants. I have read a few stories recently of lawyers getting slammed by judges due to them using AI and not proof reading or fact checking. They made up laws and even made up witnesses.
It’s happening to DOJ lawyers all over the country. That’s what happens when you’re left with the dregs

Ugh.

I understand this story, but I’m not sure what to make of it. Would be nice to see Mineo represented by a lawyer so we could see what the outcome would be in a case decided on its merits.

Edit: I guess the fact that Schwab and Mineo (people who know more about the community than me) are making these allegations adds weight to their side, but I watched a couple videos on the YouTube channel and looked at comments, and didn’t see anything immediately crazy.
The videos of some random match between 10 year olds with close ups of their crotches that get hundred of thousands of views when even the matches from Worlds may get 50k?

As for the comments, the creeps know they can’t outright be creepy but you’ll notice a pattern. Stuff like this used to happen to kid oriented videos on YouTube, and the creeps there used to post timestamps so their fellow pedos could create a library of quick video snippets. It wasn’t until a massive uproar that YouTube started to disable comments for videos aimed at kids. This Guardian story goes into the issue briefly.

just saw a few videos - looks like the commenters were told to tone down the double entendres - or got scared due to the publicity. Anyway - don’t be fooled. If I had a kid in those videos, I would be demanding that guy take them off stat.

It is widespread enough that it is now being tracked.

I trust you and I’m not disagreeing. I watched about 3 videos and they seemed like normal matches and compilations- I didn’t delve deeper. Maybe they hold special interest to a certain type of person who would obsess over them.

The thing that did seem odd was that one of the videos I watched was a random match between two 135 pound middle schoolers with a quarter million views. It was a good match but not THAT good.

Some of the videos were being posted on gay porn websites and it would include timestamps when to watch. We have some sick people in this world. In 2023 people starting saying things about the videos and people were served papers in 2024. The ref behind the website would ref at super 32 then when he was done he would film matches and post them on his site. In IL he would often show up at tournaments he wasn't reffing at in his uniform and film matches. I don't believe anyone has been able to prove he's done anything wrong but people are definitely using his videos and putting them on gay websites

When this original topic came up months ago I made the mistake of going on what I believe was the original website of the person people were complaining about and immediately my computer was bombarded with inappropriate website advertisements/site suggestions, etc. It took me probably an hour to get my computer cleaned up enough to not suggest inappropriate sites, etc. That tells you everything you need to know about the type of people who were viewing those videos and affecting the algorithms.

The alleged pedo didn't just sue the "names" in the online wrestling community like Willie and Mineo but sued individual posters on the Intermat board, some under their real name and some under their online handle so please be careful what you post. Either that or make a really funny alt name so the court records reflect that.

A little premature to be making B1G previews & predictions, when we don't even know what the starting lineup will be for each school. But, today's edition of FloWrestling Radio Live does make B1G previews & predictions.

(1:45) episode start
(3:45) Big Ten preview & predictions
(1:15:05) Amit Elor out of U23 Worlds
(1:16:45) questions from friends

Looking more like a 141 than a 125 to my untrusty eye.

I hope he cracks the lineup. I've known about the kid since he was probably 10.
Me and my daughter drove up to watch the team at Black Knight Tournament. His match with Luke was like a chess match with both guys being very familiar with each other. I have a great picture of him holding his tactical vest award standing with my daughter after the match.
His Dad gave some insight on how tough the 125 weight cut was for him to a friend of mine. Basically was drinking a miserable tasting green liquid.
The 5 for 5 probably changed the direction to his slot to being in lineup. I think if the Davis news is accurate and Blaze stays down ,141 might be his option.

From a team points perspective, you have to think Desmond at 133 and Blaze going up to 141 would be better. Not sure Desmond has a good shot at AA at 141, but he certainly does at 133 and Blaze is top-4 at either weight.

141 is a much weaker weight. Other than Bo and Stanich not a ton of elite guys. I think he would be fine at 141. That said, I really hope we get to see Ono. That is my number 1 wish for the season

My wife might sugar mama Nate, so while I want to agree, I am torn.

Agreed on 141. Other than Stanich, Bassett, Frost, and Vombaur, who else is placing? Desmond has a chance.

That said, Desmond lost 11-1 to Pierson Manville at the US Open in April. If he's gonna place at 141, he needs to be much better than that.
